#Let me cook a nade

No. It's not necessary at all to be effective with frags, it's not remotely realistic, and above all else it's a sure way to TK everyone around you.
avg. safety precaution fan
Timer starts when the lever on the grenade is thrown away, not the pin.
Let me cook a nade
Does I say at least one word about realism here? Random blue bastard can kill everyone in hab without preparing nade(every second grenade in ue4 version it's be a kill, now you just scare a birds)
Of course you didn’t because this suggestion is not thought out in the slightest.
If you don't understand what's being suggested here, no explanation will help. What do you need to consider here? press R to start the 5-second timer before the grenade explodes?
Nothing about the suggestion is hard to understand. It's just a bad suggestion.
Does it create TK problems?
Probably
Would I like to have the option?
Yes
But in all honesty, I'd rather get the ability to throw back grenades first.
Rare occurrence, but I've sometimes just been sitting on the other side of a wall and a grenade just lands in front of me. I can do nothing but run or find cover.
I'd like to have that third option in cases where I can see the grenade landing in front of me and realistically do something about it
Dive on it.
Can't save yourself, but you can save everyone around you and they can pick you back up.
Wait....
Does that actually work in
?
Yes.
Has for a very long time, actually

some alpha gameplay there lol
I don't remember anymore, but is this info in the tutorial somewhere?
Afaik not many games have this particular mechanic so it's not quite second nature despite my tactical shooter experience.
And I'm used to trying to throw it back if possible.
This game? Having a competent and through tutorial? You’re funny
No, it’s never really explained. I don’t know if there’s so much as a loading tip calling it out.
I’m honestly not sure that Offworld knows that it exists at this point either. It might have been an unintended feature from the way they coded grenades for all I know.
We don't even know if it's a bug or a feature.
It has to do with how damage casts work on explosives. They just draw a straight line out from the center, it's why pebbles block grenades too
It's intended, was something that had to be clarified, after Nanos myth busters video in alpha, covering it.
