Description: New alternative kits for Grenadiers, Iranian Fajr 224 SL kit and IMF AT kits do not have proper restrictions. It is cause by different kit restrictions. This still happens with WPMC Raider role where even if 3 fire support roles are picked player can take the Raider role and block one of the FS roles from spawning in again if they die.
Fix: Combining both optic and iron sight/red dot kits under 1 role restriction BP so they are not counted as 2 or more separate kits. Same could be applied to all roles using alternative kits like Medics.

This is very annoying bug (or feature?). People don’t realize that picking raider blocks other actually useful classes, mostly grenadier but also happens with other classes. I think raider should be moved to direct combat role class rather than fire support.

@visual hedge just a note, some other roles also have incorrect restrictions, VDV and WPMC marksman roles being one of them

  • Picture #1 - double marksman for VDV, can be triple marksman if someone grabbed the AS VAL variant
  • Picture #2 - you can pick the same marksman variant as another player, but it doesn't let you spawn in, shouldn't let you pick it at all

  • Picture #1 - all 3 GL kit variants able to be used for GFI
  • Picture #2 - player managed to grab the same GL variant from an ammo crate, first player to die could not spawn in with that role

IMF Scout also counts as HAT

So you can't even pick it if there are 2 HATs already

Iirc specialist roles are limited to 2 per squad and each one if them has a limit of 1 so you cant have 2 HAT kits in one squad

It even says that HAT text when you hover over the icon

I did a bug report but it got no attention at all

The game also states that extra HAT slots will open on 15 and 20 slots at when trying to spawn Scout kit.
