mine runs crazy good, the only problem is storage for a mac laptop. im moving into a new place so im just doing everything on a mac for a year or two and then ill buy windows pc. but yeah it will run but will heat up quickly possibly, i was just wondering if there was ever going to be a mac release

No its less about running it on mac and more about being able to develop a whole new branch and re write everything on mac OS

you're extremely unlikely to see squad on MacOS unless Valve decides to bring proton support to MacOS (also very unlikely)
squad is only on linux because of proton support, not because the devs develop the game for linux
