I make all my centerfire ammunition, and this post really made me laugh..
I love cqb fights when my gun fills the entire room with thick scope and then i have to guess where to shoot
I don't think they should change distance smoke really. You should be able to see a bloom or at least a notable lasting smoke trail to spot.
First person smoke I think needs tweaking though but distance smoke I think helps make the game more accessible. Free weekend wasn't trash this time around and I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that people could actually see each other from a distance.
There are only 2 type of people XDD
I think people are upvoting more so about the first person smoke bloom which I agree with and mentioned during the playtest.

I just want to bring up the fact that for me at least. Free weekend wasn't terrible and I think it has a lot to do with distance smoke. People coming in to play again, or for the first time had a better time spotting each other. It made it more fun overall.
I'm sure they know about it. There is probably a bunch of little things they need tweaking.
Like I said though, I'm just pointing out that I think the distance smore should stay for now. I think it helps with the Squad being about accessibility-realism.
I also think it punishes lone wolfing because you're way more noticeable. People have to try and play closer to each other.

no. The plume from weapons fire. It's more noticeable compared to UE4.
While I do feel the plume from first person should be changed as it is extreme under certain situations. Seems to be very thick when "indoors".
