From what they said in the FAQ it's done on purpose to avoid in game problems/crash, it's annoying because it does it every time you spaw and not just the first time. In general it's still something you don't see on mid/high end hardware, hopefully they'll fix their crash/bug issues and fix the fact that when you enter the game and spawn the textures are all there
