Now that IMF is been made to be a Russian proxy fighters time to lean in to that direction further.
Firstly weapons need some more love and this is how it could be done:

Remove AK-101 and AK-12 from Rifleman role
Change AK-101 magazine to use a 7.62x39 magazines making it a AK-103 with Zenitco parts exclusive to SL
AK-12 can stay for SL only or it can be replaced by AK-74 or AKS-74 with PSO-1 optic, see picture #1, can also be a thing for AKM, for correct designation any AK74 or AKM with a scope should be named: AK-74N, AKS-74N, AKMN. Just a minor thing
Remove AS VAL from SL role, Raider can keep it
VSS could stay if the magazine was changed from 20 rounder to a 10 round magazine, see picture #2 and #3, 4 and 5 for reference being used by a DPR militants
Add a mix of F-1 and RGO grenades to be used in tandem with RGD-5, all of these have been seen and used by D(L)PR militias
Possible change to replace 1P63 sight with something like 1P76, picture #6 for reference, and PK-A, picture #7 for reference
New HAT option being RPG-27, picture # 8 for reference
Add the RPK with drum magazines as another option for the AR role
Remove SV-98 and replace it by Mosin Nagant M1891/30 with PU optic
Add a PPSh-41 with stick magazines to a Grenadier role using the RPG-7
Add a PPSh-41 with drum magazines to a Radier role as a third option
Add PPS-43 to a Sapper as a secondary option, picture #9 for reference
Add the Stechkin APS automatic pistol to the SL role, picture #10 for reference

Add PTRS-41, picture #12 for reference, as a Specialist Ambusher role, with APS secondary and for grenades F-1 grenades and RKG-3 AT grenades
Possibly add RPG-18, picture #13 as a reference, as one of the LAT options

They really need to be updated to higher quality, these models have not been changed since 2015 or 2016 and it really shows.

This is the look they should go for:

Remove M2HB HMG
Addition of NSV, picture #1 as reference
PM M1910/30, both shielded and unshielded options for bunker HMG deployables, pictures #2 and #3 as references
9K111 Fagot as a ATGM, reference picture #4
120-PM-43 mortar, 120mm mortar exclusive to the Support battlegroup, reference picture #5
