In my opinion the commander could have a lot more assets to make him more useful.
As of now, the commander can only do something every 15 Minutes and his options are very limited.

There are many option that would give the commander so much more options for the field for example:

-Cluster ammunition from an airstrike or artillery
-Laser guided ammunition from the drone or an airstrike (before the introduction of laser guidance) they could be aimed with a camera on the vehicle (the drone/aircraft).
That would give the commander more variety in his assets to attack enemy´s

-supply drops from a cargo plane, a cargo plane could fly over a FOB and drop a large amount of supplies, either chosen by the commander or premade, with a flight path made by the commander with the ability to shoot it down before dropping the supplies.

-calling in non respawning vehicle like: Tanks (only 1), light Vehicles perhaps with Tows/RWS or open top, supplies trucks or other vehicles map specific.
That way the commander could balance the playing field for example: if the team voted for Air assault and the enemy has an armored battalion and the team needs more armor or rather anti-armor vehicles, the command could call in another Tank or Tow cars to deal with them, the possibilities would be endless.

Honestly sound cool, especially with supplies airdrop, could be really useful in a situation when it is impossible to deliver any supplies via logi vehicles

Supply drop would requier supply crates, with that you can effectively do the same with a heli so no to supply drop commander asset.

If its a commander asset you basically have 0 risk to dropping supplies on a position so even if they get destroyed team doesnt lose anything.

You can always put a risk to it, as it was mentioned before, youll be able to shoot the plane down before it drops anything, you can easily put 15-25 tickets there, and there you go, you have a risk

So a supply drop would only have the* consequence of deducting points which would be required to call in any other airstrike or artillery

But as I said, they're all viable only when the entire commander system is reworked

Besides, it's a good way to have a quick supply drop in a remote area if everything else is destroyed

CMD in my opinion should be only 1 person and not a squad and should be similar to Squad44 commander that has multiple jets and arty options + UAV that can be moved around if needed not just on 1 path

Saying that there is no risk is false, the risk would be that you used the wrong commander action when another one would be needed.

Could see having an armed UAV and unarmed UAV, unarmed being the normal timing and armed being simillar to the airstrike timer.

Supply drop i think could be cool but it would have to be a slow chute and noticeable that its coming in (even still require players to interact with it when it comes in to unload) and be limited on how much supplies it has. even then only on the large maps. Should also be an aircraft that could get shot down
