maybe not the return to the horizon after shooting, or 360 but definitely the reload
i feel like i reload it 10 times before i find something to shoot
just from moving to better places
SPG tripod does not have the ability to rotate 360 degrees
Best way to do it is to add the ability to rotate the whole thing when holding F on it like you have with vehicles
This is just a suggestion that will be easier to implement. Because it is very difficult for owi to implement your proposal or even the possibility of rearranging any stationary weapons.
The code for rotating vehicles is already in the game, this is a stationary vehicle by the games logic
Your suggestion of allowing it to turn 360 degrees on the stand isnt possible and would resault in clipping of the model when you turn past 30 degrees and would just look awful and weird

There are many mechanics that can be implemented for this, but I decided to suggest the simplest one. That doesn't mean that she seems better to me.

Personally would rather have a mechanic of allowing you to rotate the while emplacement which can be applied to any tripod mounted gun, exception being the bunkers with guns, than having a 360 degree angle to turn and looking awful

Your idea is much better and I wrote about it. Again, I just chose the simpler and faster option in the proposal.
Personally, I would prefer the ability to assemble/disassemble HMG, TOW, GL on a tripod (not a bunker) and carry them within the radius of the fob. But we literally have none of this.
Honestly, the reload thing more so feels like a bug, that is just in the infinite limbo of "we need to fix this other thing first"
I would be for the emplacement spg to have a larger angle to turn, but not 360
I feel like the suggestion by someone here was the best option, just make a separate interaction to move/turn the emplacement
Yeah no 360, however I would like a 80-90dg because I'm pretty sure it a 45dg at the moment.
Also yeah, I really hate the scope moving back to it default position, although that happens with all emplacements but not vics surprisingly. Also not with tows either.
SPG IRL has 30 degree turn radius so with 45 we are getting a better end of the stick

Dude, you can rotate spg-9 360 degrees on a passenger car. You think irregular factions couldn't do it themselves for a stationary point? Especially since I've said 10 times that it's the easiest way out, but not the most reliable, because owi will be too lazy to even do it, let alone add a radial menu
IRL has nothing to do with it. Your game is not about realism.

Game is about being as authentic as it can be, meaning gear and weapons try to be as accurate as they are IRL
