do you know how to read? where does it says that im teamkilling?
i get tk'd almost every match and if not get shot at by friendlies multiple times every match get hit by them or not before magically my friendly tag pops up in their scope 5 seconds later after they missed 15 shots
i dont need tags

i know its part of the game but what i am saying is people see no tag they shoot = they see a tag they dont shoot
meaning name tags either needs to work %100 consistently and not once in a while like it does currently or needs to be completely removed

The people teamkilling obv have the skill issue. Yes I played back then too and I wasn't counting on tags. You shouldn't have to count on tags anyway.
I feel like part of the problem is that if your a completely new player and you haven't played or gone up against a faction before the only way of checking what they look like is to press enter and look at the change teams menu. I don't think most players even know that its prossible to do that so in practice they're only going to be able to tell when they see the enemy. It would be helpful if they integrated a manual/guide into squad and or updated the tutorial to better explain the games features
Yes, you are also supposed to be able to see them now. Sometimes they dont render tho.
It would be less of an issue with consistent rendering nametags. Players expect to see them, and if there is a player without nametag, which cannot be identified by uniform or silhouette, they expect it to be an enemy, and not a friendly with bugged nametag.
Ill always encourage blueberries to use the minimap first than relyibg on the nametags but I understand that in a early stage is really helpfull for new players so yeah,they should work as expected and therefore enabled/disabled in the settings menu when you get used to the minimap or even recognizing uniforms.
Yes and sometimes when you in intense fights you can’t open map, like in situation where enemies and teammates in smoke or you have horrible suppression effect then you can’t see anything
I mean Irl the rate of friendly fire is something between 2 and 15 % so thats a thing that we have to deal with everywhere.

Yeah thats true,they all prfessionals and they still do friendly fire,imagine in a videogame where you dont really get punished if you kill a teammate

Not like marching around on parade with them, but moving very near or among them.

Make it similar to rising storm 2 teamkill system
Teamkilled players have the choice to automatically forgive teamkillers, e.g if they shot u on accident
While if u believe it was on purpose u could press that, then they get the teamkill time and admin gets notified
F1 forgives, F2 decline

That helps get rid of bad actors and helps relsoves teamkills (kinda)
We are not in BF, squad is half way between casual and milsim, be happy you have some kind of nametags, most game in this are doesn't have nametags.
Teamkilling is either that the player placement on the map are bad, or the player think they are in COD.. Getting TK is not a bad thing, it force people to think before shooting.
One thing would be to add an option to disable TK (by default enabled) on the server. So we could have "newbies friendly" servers that doesn't have TK
