I think an map set place at the panama canal would be an interesting Match up. Because squads max map size is like 8x8km and the panama canal is wide and POI can be far away from each other are far away, you dont need to make the map completly realistic and 1:1. Some interesting match ups could be chinese navy vs us army, or possible future south american armies/ militia against USMC.

There is also an brazilian mod which is already far developed. Once finished I hope OWI would by this, so it could be an integesting faction for this mod.

Maybe those south american factions could fit long term:

-Venezuela (redfor)
-south american Alliance (independet)
-south american insurgency (independed)

I think it is also because of the lack of asian factions. If we would have lets say north and south Korea, Japan and taiwan next to the chinese, the outcome might ne different.

Naah because its amfib focused and amfib play sucks you are very limited and you a sitting duck to whoever is on land and his ATGMs

I see but you can give the defenders, lets say the US army just light arm fire and some amored MLTVs and the attackers lets say the chinese navy APCs and IFVs. Or also just light Infantery but more helicooters amd boats. But the US army some m113 with mortars and so on. Performance hoewer, I do agree.

And once an objective is taken by youre team you will spawn at this place. The defenders will get when, from time to time more heavy armored fighting vehicles. But only after the Attacken have taken an point at the coast line.

You cant force specific factions to be on each map as that is voted for and each side will always pick what is best suited for the map and that will always be amfib but amfib is just terrible gamplay

You can indeed force them,each map has prefedined factions to be selectable or not in a match. Idea is nice. Maybe post it in the modding discord in brainstorming.A guy Rock Lee is making a brazilian+ other factions mod.

I think so too and we would have many cool point lf interests like ship locks, an countainer hatbour plus oil terminals, maybe an train station, an joint police/ army check point and maybe an large cargo ship.

no it's the fact that china refuses to acknowledge taiwan and pitches a fit everytime anyone else does. I'd imagine they'll invade them day in the near future. they've wanted it back since the 50's
