#Bring glory to the AS-VAL

AS-VAL is in a very sorry state of existence. It merely performs as if it were a supressed AK-12 with worse soft stats, which leaves a lot of be desired.

It should get the following improvements:

  • Improved rate of fire to 900 RPM from its current 650 RPM. Which is it's real life rate of fire.
  • Improved ergonomics that is representative of how its 33% of the weight of an AK-12 in real life. In game this would probably translate to giving it SMG ergonomics.
    - Improving either its base damage from 60 to 63 or its inner limb damage from 37.5 to 40. It would be better if it could kill similarly to other rifles that can do one chest shot and a shoulder shot to kill. Especially given it's limited ammo capacity.
EDIT: Removed the above point, buff recoil and RoF.

So buff the damage while making it more controllable and don't forget to increase the fire rate by 38% 😅

It has too much recoil and kickback. That's about it, and yes it's undesirable

Yep, it sounds silly. But then you realise the entire scout kit is just the AS-VAL. So the AS-VAL should be actually semi-decent and not trash.

#

Especially if your dedicated weapon kit can be summised as "a worse AK-12".

its 9x39 subsonic so I don't think it should perform the same way as other rifles but otherwise 👍

I guess if the recoil / rate of fire is buffed enough then an extra bullet to kill doesn't truly matter.

Buff rof to real life values and adjust recoil/ergonomics

Boom

Fixed

give the scout the option of either iron sights and 2 additional magazines, or the PSO scope and 6-7 mags

void socket
#

Why not both

#

Just give option of scope or red dot

Ok, and

Or add irons as you mentioned

#

Just have both

Yeah but you've gone full autism for realism, but I'm team full autism for gameplay.
