I have a VAC ban on Steam, and I purchased Squad. However, whenever I try to join a server, I get kicked out. Is there a solution?

I've never heard of such a thing. I have a vac in CS, but in the squad there are no problems. Maybe because of the ban period

If your vac ban is less than year old some servers will not let you play on them

If a year is not an issue, I thought after I bought it that I was permanently banned from playing online in Squad.

no youre not banned in squad, its just some servers wont allow people with fresh vac bans onto their servers

Well, I suppose most servers have battlemetrics, maybe there is a filter for players with a vac ban

Squad doesn't use VAC Bans.

So if you were VAC banned on another game, cause servers are community operated some server have a rule in place denying anyone access to their server within 1 year of getting a VAC ban on their steam account.

If this is the case you will have to just find a server that doesn't enforce this.

Game bans are different, but are still checked.
Games bans mean a Game Developer of that game issued you a game ban.

Servers have Battlemetrics correct.
Battlemetrics does not kick for such.
Servers may setup a rule to deny people with a vac/game ban in the last X days not be allowed on their server.

It's servers choice.
That's all that matters.

Battlemetrics is a server adminstration tool.

Servers can setup a trigger in battlemetrics to kick for VAC.

All in all Servers/communities are kicking for VAC/Game bans.

By server I literally mean the squad server.

if you join the servers discord for where you got kicked, you can ask them the reason. All squad servers are community based servers, so some have differering rules but there is a base set of rules all licensed servers must follow.

He has a VAC ban that simple, stated in the kick message from the server.

No need to ask the reason.

Servers are allowed to do such.
