DDOS has nothing to do with Offworld/Squad Developers, that is part of server hosting & upto the community to combat/set up defence for.

Well aware, tho when its a whole region Offworld has to understand itll no doubt get bad rep from players because they'll think its offworlds fault due to its large scale attack.

But the fact the servers are Community Run,
& majority of players know that, it won't make a difference.

Community run servers that are still bound by OWI licenses... not saying that there is any accountability, unless it's a server crashing exploit in the game.

OWI license's are not over the top.
They are pretty standard decent sense/respect rules.

Is it bad that offworld just want their players to have a good experience & not have to be insulted while playing?

Considering the DDOS attacks are taking advantage of a known server join vulnerability... surely that could be fixed/mitigated in a hotfix and improve QOL for server owners AND players?

I assume the OWI server team is doing their due diligence and at least talking to the server hosts to get basic information about the attacks?
