Out of curiosity, what issues do you see with the first flag being so close to attacker main? Makes it very hard to stop the tide of attackers?
The attackers can hardly leave their main, can hardly get a different angle of attack than straight from main, their odds of taking 1st obj. are extremely low, and therefore these matches are pointless and a waste of time. It's basically "take a dump on the attacking team" for about 20 minutes and then on to the next match.
Oh interesting, I haven't played that later before, I was assuming the attackers would have the bigger advantage but what you say makes sense. If they miss that initial window in the first few minutes of the game to break out of their main base I can see how it would turn into a turkey shoot especially on a desert map with virtually no concealment.
