There are almost always strykers sitting at main forcing people to drive into combat in logis and dying over and over again. It makes no sense that we have to use crewman for stykers when vehicles like the AAVP dont need crewman even though they are more powerful. there is no incentive for a dedicated stryker squad because it just has an HMG. I think that allowing a normal squad to crew the stryker would benefit gameplay of U.S. Army because they would actually use their APC's instead of them sitting at main for the entire game.
#MG Stryker not requiring crewman

yep, forMRAPs with turrets not need crewman but for this need, interesting shit
That Stryker should also be able to carry supply to help the team on logi duty
In my opinion vehicles such as the AAVP should require crewman, even a regular Stryker can kill BTRs and solo-roam the backline of the enemy. It is still too powerful to be operated by a single player.
I can see that but the issue is that with the Stryker they are always sitting at main and aren’t doing anything. I think not requiring crewman for apcs is a necessary compromise so that the vehicles actually get used by squads to attack objectives
Are you talking about the 7.62 one?
Maybe for that one it would be nice for only the driver to need crewman as a compromise
On other factions you have use APCs with 50 cals without crewman
Probably legacy setting on the Stryker cause its been in game for very long
And they never bothered to change it
ya the ZSL is fuckin OP as fuck
the wheeled open top pla apc
it obviously does not have a RWS but it's armor is really fuckin good and there are 0 crewman required for it
The 50 cal stryker should 100% require the crewman kit, now maybe, like the PARS, it should only need it for the driver so it's more easily integrated into an infantry squad but that's it.
I see the issue with those APCs. But making them available to one player does not lead to it being used properly. It would be used either by solo players to do their own thing or as one-way transports by infantry squads, which usually get wasted.
The 30 cal stryker would be fine not requiring a crewman kit but imo any closed top APC SHOULDN'T be able to be one manned in a solo squad, they should all require crewman driver. AAVP, MTLB-6MA, T-LAV.
