You should disable voice chat on vote screen to avoid chaos and misinformation. So this way, players can fairly choose the map/faction they want.

If you do not know how to communicate with the team and jointly choose the necessary faction for the next game (for example, choose a counterpick for your opponents). Take the headphones out of your ears.

I understand that sometimes there are a lot of idiots on the server who make animal sounds into the microphone. But this depends on personal experience and the adequacy of the players in general. Communication is the most important aspect in the game. Because the only thing worse than your opponent is a teammate who is silent. Try to find servers that are not aimed at beginners, but at players who already understand something about the game.

From my experience, most often it is possible to agree with the team that it is better to pick another fraction (if you give a normal argument and manage to take the lead in communication). But this rule does not work on Fridays and Saturdays)

I realize that communication is very important for this game, but with shouting, misdirections, animal sounds on the vote screen, they take away other players right to choose map/faction. Communication on the vote screen is no longer important I think. If voice chat is disabled, players can vote for the map/faction they want and a fair choice is made.

So basically; voice chat can be turned off for the vote screen only.

I think the best option would just be to limit it to SLs so they can actually coordinate their next match, since they were the ones coordinating the previous one

Rather than some dude yelling CHINA CHINA CHINA CHINA or TOP MIDDLE

#

Or better yet, just go back to set rotation and JS voting during the match

squad only mic option should mute anything but your squad. but it doesn't mute the enemy, meaning OWI probably forget that mod server can enable cross-team voip.
