its now rampant with the new vics 5 to 7 squads all made before any one loads in claiming anything they want always the same people doing it, it sux for every one else in the server that never get to play any of the vics

Totally agree, i had to start using it because otherwise there was no chance for me to get any vehicle. Now i can let other people (who don't normally have a chance to drive vehicles) have fun with it.

I agree that more control should be given to servers for commands

#

however, the system has been this way so it is on the servers for not adapting their rules. Name claiming rules being undermined by console commands is a self-own.

Consider doing first-come, first-serve for properly named squads.

first come first serve ends up with a single person from random squads waiting at main for what ever is about to spawn then its a fight when someone does not get the vic they wanted

How about just not centering your vic claim rules around something that can be abused with console commands?

FCFC is the fairest option

#

also everyone can use the command

#

so it is fair that way

update to this dead post but we now have a delay on the squad creation to allow everyone a chance to load in killing the who ever has the best pc wins, all we need is the command line to be able to be turned off and everyone can get the chance to throw there name in the hat and claim a vic they might get it they might not, this will allow the randoms the people who join our groups and add to our numbers to be allowed to play a vic

how do they stop the command line from going through

#

the issue now is they spam it just as the squad creation is unlocked and they are first

o yea we are doing that now but they still spam it and as soon as the squad creation is unlocked there are six squads claiming all the vic

#

we had a guy run a macro the claim his vic once he made 36 squads in under a min

wise flint
#

Ah okay. The server also kicks players who try to create a squad during that period too often automatically, this may solve your problem

verbal bridge
#

yea we set a limit and they do sometimes get kicked but they learned not to do it so much and avoid that

#

plus please show me where in the game it show the randoms how to do the command line, like how is it fair to the people that just want to play a game

wise flint
#

Is there a significant advantage in using the command line under those conditions anyway? To create a squad regularly i just have to click the button when the broadcast message appears, it should not be a significant difference to running the command.

no they run the command line before the next match and set the squad name and make it locked once thats saved in the commands you open the console hit up and then enter bam you just made a squad and you can easly spam this

wise flint
#

Perhaps your script works differently, but on the server I play on I can pretty much create a Squad the same moment when squad creation is unlocked.

verbal bridge
#

yes you can but you cant beat the command line speed of how fast they can do it

wise flint
#

Well both methods work by clicking a key at the right moment, I dont see the advantage in using the cmd line.

#

With the script I know.

#

And when you kick players lets say the third time they try that it becomes very risky to spam the command.

verbal bridge
#

they have the squad name made and locked and saved they beat anyone typing anytime

#

i guess extending the locked times might help but its still an issue

#

its stopping the randoms from being able to play the game thats all im after making vics something everyone could play

#

yes but again the speed at which the command line gets in is much faster then the anyone typing so extending the timer might help with that
