ICO Recoil & Sway: Okay but could be better with continued refinement.

Let's just borrow the mechanics of shooting from a really military simulator of any version of arma. And then the OWI product will become playable again.

Imma be honest squad isn’t too far off from ArmA 3 vanilla weapons sway.

Personally, I find the current recoil and sway manageable (other than time to stabilize) but it’s bipod weapons that are still waaaay out. To begin with its a struggle to land first round on target 200m+ when rifles with the same MOA in game can consistently nail a point 500m away without a bipod. The shot patterns feel REALLY exaggerated as well. I feel more comfortable sending full auto bursts from a no bipod rifle than an AR or LMG and having a chance of hitting my target.

You are wrong, the shooting of the arma and the squad in the current state are very far from each other if a real military man holds a weapon in the arma... Then a mobilized disabled person holds a weapon in the squad. The 5.1 version of the squad was perfect, but the developer decided to make it even better, but unfortunately, according to the saying, "I wanted the best, but it turned out as always"

i play arma, and idk if you play with weapons sway turned off or what but other than being able to stabalize they feel pretty close

To sum up: Except for the gag reflex, the game does not cause any more feelings. I stopped playing it after this update was released, and I have a lot of fun reading how people having 50 hours condemn old mechanics and masturbate to new ones.

im not responding to you after this one, but i have 4000 hours in this game, 3500 of which are pre-ico. I like the changes. I play arma as well. the games feel similar now. just because you hate the game and yourself doesnt mean you have to be an asshole when people have opinions contrary to yours.
