#Servers aren't showing

I did pretty much everything, restarted the game, restarted steam, restarted my PC, changed filters, ran as admin. anything I found online and still the game isn't showing me servers, my internet is fine and able to run every other multiplayer game but Squad doesn't seem to work.

I installed the game today so I thought there wouldnt be any need to

Then i suggest that,

Since you havn't played for a long time & squad has had alot of updates including engine,
its the first thing to do.

Unless it's a new PC, that game cache is still stored on your PC, even when you uninstall a game.

if you got a VPN, i suggest attempting to try that first, see if it's a network provide issue also.
