#Can't get EveryDream2 running in Desktop pod

Not a RunPod issue, I suggest logging a Github issue in the EveryDream2 repo.
I still don't get why you don't just use the EveryDream2 community template...
The docker image is by the same guy who is the developer
Even has a video tutorial for RunPod
i followed the tutorial and jupyter was empty
it didnt have the files the video had
and honestly i find it easier to work with a desktop where i can have everything with a gui
cause i want to run a1111 with everydream on the same machine
ill try
I don't think everydream has GUI does it? And A1111 isn't a desktop its a Web UI so doesn't make sense to use a desktop template for it
yes but moving the files around when i need to and having the terminal windows open
its easier for me this way
You can have terminal windows open in Jupyter
I see there is no GUI, even for Widows he just runs the training from the command line
it really makes no sense to use a Desktop template for this
Its not designed to be a desktop app, so desktop is overkill and totally unnecessary
And if you insist on using Desktop, you will have to just figure out yourself because its not supposed to work like that and is not designed to work like that.
No point in wasting the time of others unnecessary due to being stubborn.
i literally tried using the premade image, it did not work like in the video
i will try again in a few min but i already tried 2 times like in the video and it did not work
Then log an issue on Github if that is the case so the developer can fix it
I think most issues with that image is that they do not sync files to workspace so it breaks
Oh, haven't tried it myself so wouldn't know
I havent used ED2 for very long time though I used to
@jaunty lodge I should be able to rebuild that docker image to work fine on secure cloud
i made it work by doing some dumb stuff lol
not all files were there so i git pulled the whole repo again
pip installed without venv
