The game does load perfectly, but when I want to heal my pokemon, Nurse Joy says that something isn’t right with my mod install and the game crashes afterwards. I’ve followed all the steps. Can someone help? Thanks!

hi there im having this problem but i did download bd, unzipped with 7zip, redownloaded 3 times, deleted and moved the files back in 3 times, made sure the ips was in the right spot, followed all the guidelines, and nurse joy still says this idk what to do :(

Is the game 1.3.0? (Check from the + window on the home menu.) Are you sure you've been downloading the version to match your game? BD for BD, SP for SP?

I dont know if this is really relevant, but there is a little troubleshooting step in the installagion page:

If you have followed all of these instructions and the game still doesn't boot, please use a homebrew file reader such as NX-Shell and navigate to atmosphere/contents/0100000011D90000 and check that romfs and exefs (and the folders within) are displaying as folders as intended.
If they are instead displaying as files please make your own exefs and romfs in the appropriate spot and place the contents inside yourself. Check again in NX-Shell that everything is displaying as folders now.
You may also need to redownload the mod entirely in case of a corruption.

It says the permissions here, but I can't see for the .ips file which is the main problem

okay i think i actually figured it out

so there are 2 exefs_patches folders for some reason, if the ips is in the first one i get that error. if its only in the second one the game restarts to the intro after pressing a on the title screen. i put it in both and now i can talk to nurse joy

So somewhere in your config the atmosphere path was changed and it's reading from a different folder
Very weird but good to know in case it ever happens again to someone else
