Hi, I haven't been playing the game recently. Does this happen when you equip only that weapon?
Thats the only weapon i saw it, also the weapon has a Laserpointer with Expedition and No Laserpointer with Vanilla Gamma, but yes, only weapon that seemed to be the issue

I will check later this afternoon when I have some time. Consider that with the Gamma EXP you are using the expedition shaders which can have bugs. Regarding the weapon and the laser, no weapons files are changed afaik. Only the textures from Expedition are included and they are at the top of the loadorder so everything gets overriden with GAMMA apart from some of the anomaly vanilla texture like vehicles. Maybe your mod load order is different from what the GAMMA EXP should be.
well I quick checked and it's the LAM actually the problem, all weapons with LAM will have this blue screen that anyway goes of if you switch off the LAM (L key); the laser will still be on so this switch isn't working properly. However if you reload the cfg gamma-expedition it'll go away for few secs only to reappear which means some file or script is changing the user.ltx parameters. I think the problem could be in some script that manage the LAM of all weapons. I don't really know more than this at this point. Curious to see if in the Expedition standalone we have the same issue

I could Check If a quick and dirty paste of the mod is enough to make it appear in Vanilla Expedition
one thing I know is that the expedition shaders mod in the current position which is now, talking of GAMMA EXP load order, is overriding some of the BAS weapon shaders mod. So one way to fix it would be to place the Expedition shader before those mods or make a patch with the some of overriden files from BAS (related to laser) and place it below the Anomaly_Expedition_2.1_Shaders. I don't know if this would cause issues with the exped shaders.
try to make a mod patch with just the files that from the BAS mod that have laser and than put this new mod below Anomaly_Expedition_2.1_Shaders

well just copy the files marked into a new folder (e.g on your desktop) with the same path in the original mod and then zip it making sure the gamedata folder is at the root of the archive and that is the patch. You just import this new mod in MO and place it below Anomaly_Expedition_2.1_Shaders

or better you can simply do nothing of the above and when you equip a weapon with LAM and the screen goes blue, just press L to switch off the LAM and the blue screen will go away. The weapon laser anyway will still be on so there will be no impact on the gameplay swithing off the LAM

I wouldnt expect to see that. Xray notoriously struggles with animations already and about half of the players total would try to just spam the animations real fast and busyhands them selves immediately.

On a serious note. I just usually play with the numbers until it does something when it comes to xray. Because honestly half the time it feels like what it says it does and what it actually does is incorrect. Worst case you revert your changes or reinstall and it never happened. But you learned what not to do.

lots of the textures are defined in texture defenitions folder under configs. unpack anomaly and take a look
Also advise using the mo2 filters to find out which mods do what in your modlist and look at those. Iirc things like parts in tool tip give alot of insight on how creation and display of ui elements work
yeah the search function in mo2 has saved me a lot of trouble figuring out why my changes arent being made

Gamma has an immersion blur when in the dialog box. You'll have to remove it from the script to make it so the dialog isn't blurred

The texture file has a solid white pixel border, but in the original game it's blurred out a few pixels and squished.

the way i did it was lasso out the back texture and then frame and layer them over the existing box so it fitx

got some fun with actor and NPCs position offsetting but never with camera offset

in order to account for assorted monitor resolutions i'd move the camera a bit and compare the before and after world2ui for the npc's head and iterate. could combine it with a staged FOV change so the camera adjustments are smoothed a bit by the fov changes. goal end result pan and zoom effect.
Having a 21:9 monitor breaks so many things. like the 3DPA map gets squished turning all the circles into tall ovals.
World2ui will definitely help position things. Just need to prepare myself that 30 line script will be bloated to 300

yes, except finding the angle to move the view to will be dependant on FOV, rez, and intial camera location.. If you have a target location for the face in the UI space, then turning the camera part way and see how close you get to the target UI space cord relative to the original UI space location of the head. you then come up with another camera adjustment based on that. This lets you ignore the rez and fov
oh and distance to the NPC from the camera. you need to turn more to center an npc at max interaction distance than you do for one you are grouping
move camera to object first when dialogue opens and then change it to between 1-3 degrees based on distance

The pistol holding in Anomaly and add-ons has the left arm very limp to a "proper" pistol holding. In the video I attached the dude shows all the differences and stuff. Perhaps it would be nice to straighten the left arm of the grips, but I don't know how difficult it could be with all the red dots, scopes, etc. My main problem is that I don't know anything about modelling hahaha. I'm only modifing files for balance purpose and trying to document what the enhanced_recoilbyGrok™ values do.

It's the model I can't change it this is the model the ump 45 uses I wasn't sure if the other leupold rmr model would fit the kiss vector I could test it out later I just wanted a functional leupold rmr for my own personal use

One of my concerns with pulling too much off scree. Is it kinda makes the weapon too good cqc. I want it usable, but vision should be obscured a bit as a downside.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of CWWP at the moment :T
The guns look too clean and interact oddly with the lighting. Hoping once it's all finished and properly textured and shaded so it fits the feel of the zone my opinion changes. Though my other grip is the animations. They are cool and clean, sure, but they also don't really fit that stalker feel for me.
Gunslinger animations for example work perfectly because that's what you expect them to look like. Major Degtyarev is a trained member of the army. He should know how to handle a gun properly.
In the hands of a normal stalker they would feel a bit out of place. This is where BlindxSides animations come in. They fit the bill here perfectly.

To comment on this, there’s no shader addon in these videos. Add ES + SSS and they will look much better. Cr3pis might be able to share some screens with you if he got the approval of the CWWP dev team.
Also, CWWP has custom camo you can apply through some console commands

You might want to ask Grok about it. I know he uses blender (mostly model changes I think but maybe some animation changes) and he absolutely fucking hates using it so you might be able to help him a lot there
the process for fallout new vegas is pretty easy thanks to the scripter kormakurr, he made a plugin that lets you easily exchange animations for any weapon in the game, even modded
I'm not a good model or texture worker but im pretty good with animations, if I can switch out existing animations for better (no offense) I am happy to help

You use pavelblend plug in for blender requires blender 2.93 or lower

Question about readjusting weapon models, so my way of doing these is going through the config files and adjusting the numbers. Now in some weapon mods (mainly the RPG reanimation, DLTX Vykhlop, & DLTX Shak 12 Tactical) when adjusted, disappear. The weapon model itself disappears, but still usable, shooting and reloading are still possible and has sounds. So why does this happen? I never touched anything else, I double checked.
It doesn't happen with every weapon with DLTX implementation, the MG42 turned out fine

Ah yes it would. to fix that you just need to add:

right below that one and change axe to whatever comes right after wpn_ without the number.
What this addon does is just basically ensure that guns no longer spawn with armor parts instead of gun parts. So basically when you look at a weapon or take it to inventory it will just check it to ensure that it has weapon parts, if it doesnt it will reroll them. You can disable it tbh with no issues.

True. The reference I used was the electro anomaly in GS that is just a massive field of electricity. It wouldn't be too difficult to splice up the sample and have it pulsate. The only problem is getting it to match with the visual of the anomaly. The volume is an easy fix with some mixing down and rendering out at a few db less. I don't have the actual sfx as a reference for the bouncing/mixing.

I wanted it to feel "otherwordly" and also like it was a mass of condensed energy since it practically discharges in a massive burst the moment it touches anything. I took some samples of electrical signals and pitched them down to create the low humming bass frequencies. Overlayed over that is a bunch of different kinds of electrical sound effects and more signals of electrical cables shorting out. Then, I took some samples of someone striking a metal cable and pitched them down/reversed them to create this weird reality-warping sound effect. The metallic droning is from some reverb I applied on an electrical signal combined with distortion. I thought it harmonized decently enough with the other sound effects to sound like some sort of instrument.
The twangs of the metal cables, I thought of editing them and pitching them down differently from one another to make it less recognizable.
make it 50hz for realism 
But yeah, I thought about it as an ambient sound for the anomaly.
The discharge would get a separate sound effect.

i wanted to change some sprinting animations for my favourite gun p99 so i opened the .ltx file with lowest priority, changed the entry on sprinting anims and saved but it didnt change the sprinting anim in the game
im kinda surprised because it worked for me in every single modpack before gamma

i basically swapped the entry from regular cz75 sprint anim entry to either glock or korth anim entries and neither work

Yes, addons are to blame for the fact that they do not have normal exports in the engine, even the calculation of the transferred weight + degradation of the artifact, everything needs to be done by scripts.

What about a simple 'wet clothes' mechanic like in SCUM for example, your equipment (Suit, Backpack ..) gets wet and heavy during the rain and you have to sit by a campfire to dry it off or maybe add a craftable drying rack of some sort..

@still meteor i had "pure virtual function call" error too while were testing various dxml stuff with ZCP 1.4 (no adding characters, just adding dialog lines and stuff), i think its not even related to that, doesnt make sense too me. Upgrading ZCP to the latest version seems to solve this issue
as for dxml stuff, i think text strings such as <string id="garbage_guide_meet_0"> <text>Who are you?.</text> </string>
can be put into new xml file inside text/eng(rus) directory, so they arent required to be "dxmlified" to be compativle. and the ids can be duplicated. The latest met id will be used

they also don't protect you from anomalies
but killing mutants and stalkers with cars is fun
That's a nice touch as helicopters are not protected from anomalies either

Ehi, there is a mod, dltx groza custom (a 7.62x39 weapond with gl and lam) that i've downladed from here. It's very good, but the author did one error:using march scope, you can use dynamic zoom, but only the first time: when you switch to secondary aim/gl, when you aim again with the scope, you can't use the dinamic zoom, so you have unload the grenade (this is the only groza that suffer the vanilla gl bug) put away the scope and the put it back. You now have dynamic zoom again, congrats, but wait: when you switch to secondary aim you have, again, the same problem. So basically you are stuck to static zoom, which it's not terrible but it's a problem anyway. I hope this text can reach the author (i don't remember it's name).

Alright, some part of the new Anomaly Seasons Redux/Project Inverno causes a weapon particles crash, but I can't see any file involving those that isn't being overwritten.

i removed the dxml file that contained the text, and left the 'zzz_st_dialogs_garbage_guide.xml' file inside the text folder where it normaly would go, but i still get the missing text string in-game
