An ongoing bug causes some stashes to spawn on random objects, anomalies or NPC's, resulting in the loss of any items they might've held.
To identify if the stash is indeed bugged you can do this:
- Disable
Areasabove the PDA Map to remove white circles around locations Right Clickthe stash marker on your PDA Map- Select
Set Waypoint Right Clickthe waypoint you just added- Select
Waypoint Settings - Enable
Show waypoints marker on HUD - Press
OK - The on-screen waypoint will point towards the stash
it couldve marked the interactable closet door

how cool would a stalker multiplayer be, made from the ground up with its sole focus on multiplayer where almost all of the zone is made up of players, the factions hierarchies are made up of players, maybe even traders could be players and you can be whoever you want, mutant hunter for example, you hunt mutants for parts and you sell them to a cook who makes food out of them and sells them to players or a weapon smuggler who smuggles weapons from outside and you have to go a bit out of the zone to take those weapons and then you can sell them to other players (for this job you could need for in game days to pass so your character gains experience). Wars could happen, factions taking over other factions controlled zones. Now i dont know how this could actually be made balanced and all of that but its a cool idea, maybe like arma reforger where you have servers but the servers could be 150 players big, since i would imagine it would be bigger than the map in stalker 2

Brc is whether your armor stops the round. If it does it applies brc mitigation before your br% is applied.
Brc mitigation is at base 35%, gets raised by plate attatchments up to 50%
If the bullet pens, then it's just your br% protecting you
That's the current system being tested in dev2

the zone also just intrinsically invites those who usually dont have everyone's best interests in mind
those who travel to a dangerous place where its pretty common to have to kill others for money arent usually the most morally sound
emissions probably aren't great for the brain, even being indoors im sure, drives everyone mad, or like into a primal rage
it may also literally be mind controlling people from around the world there
considering that was it's intended purpose
I could be wrong bc I havent played the games in a while, but at some point i believe they mention that some do travel to the zone out of desperation for the riches because they need to find ways to feed their family and live normally outside the zone, so realistically I doubt everyone who tries to make it into the zone is just straight up evil, but its probably just the games and lore not thinking it was important enough to put until storytelling

nobody wants to smoke him out because he keeps the military at bay via bribe money
the army has orders to shoot on sight on anyone not government approved entering the zone
after what happened in clear sky
sidorovich does keep at least the cordon as a safe place for tourists
well, as safe as can be inside of the zone, bandits, anomalies, and monsters are still a major threat
but you wouldn't face the firepower of the army

If you type crosshair into the console, one of the options will be to make it always visible, then turn on crosshair in settings, aim down sights and see if the dot is aligned with the tip of the sight
If it is, it just means the gun has mediocre accuracy

To get a yellow stash, finish 7 tasks, then keep doing things that will get you stash coordinates (e.g. more tasks, opening PDAs, looting bodies). You get a 50% chance of receiving a yellow stash each time. This resets upon finding a yellow stash - then you need to do 7 more tasks, and look for more stash coordinates afterwards.

Not really, a massive issue of iron sights is the crazy sway which results in aiming where the irons are despite the gun firing in the center of the screen

PP-19 you don't start with alot of ammo and the Mosin is nigh unusable against mutants

Yea can't say any of the guns really feel all that great, and not in the normal starter weapon way I would think
For all intents and purposes, the best starting weapon is a 9x18/x19 machine pistol/SMG that you can afford for your faction
You will run into 9x18/x19 almost all the time, and those weapons tend to have part that can be reused down the line
The only opps you got are Monolith, Bandits, Renegades, Sin, and ISG. And the latter two dont even spawn before BS. You are in for one boring gameplay, unless you like Artifact hunting
Personally, Ecologists are ASS

vs mutants you want HP ammo theres a script even in the game so they take less dmg from other ammos

545 556 and 762x39 have ok mutant damage for their fmj ammos so whatever amount of any of those 3 ammos you have get an extra 30%

depends on the strength of the field. to go through psy fields, you gotta be quick enough to not get killed or have crazy resist
in early/mid game, best to avoid them
you're gonna need a very good helmet and psy meds most likely
you can run in and out before you run out of psy bar but in the early game they cook u pretty fast

what faction are you? mutant parts are best sold to butcher or ecologists, depending on type. TBH, I like to keep them for arti crafting and fetch tasks
your problem will likely be actually getting to those traders safely

but standard gear can be sold to mercs just fine. There isn't really much to sell except shit weapon parts, useless valuables, attachments, and glowsticks
So afaik I shouldn't have an issue with Ecologist unless the base is covered in Loners
if you really want to sell mutant parts, yantar is probably easiest, but you wont get best prices for anything not labeled "scientific specimen" or something like that
like i said, it is more useful to just keep them for now to do easy fetch tasks around base for money and stash locations
Everything I have atm is labeled Science Speciman so I should be fine on that end

the ecos will give you decent money, but a fetch task might get you 5x or more what they would give you, depending on the part

Better gear on average and you get overall more of them too since you can get them from two factions.

IWP monolith's need to calm the fuck down with spawning grenade launchers holy shit I keep getting RGMs and M320s from them
And they're the only faction left that still spam grenades at you, og style
Thankfully GLs in this game have a safety distance so grenades don't explode near the user. This also means GL monos become harmless because their grenades don't explode when I'm near them
