If you are talking about the damage numbers in the tooltip description, that is GAMMA stuff. No idea how that stuff was solved for.

ArtiGrok shows you the raw stats: weapon tooltip stats for damage will now show the ACTUAL damage value of the weapon itself, and the ammo stats in the tooltip (not the ones in the description itself) show the bullet's damage modifier. For an easy damage calc, just multiply the gun's damage number by the ammo's damage multiplier (multiplied by the number of projectiles/buckshot).

Talking between just Anomaly mods, I prefer Arti's (EFP) because any gun feels good to use. Not to mention the anomalous ammo it has. But, since I play GAMMA more than EFP, ArtiGrok turned into fixing GBO, giving some player agency (like using Momo's better range falloff calcs so guns don't lose damage 1m away from the barrel, and allowing players to disable the damage and/or AP penalty based on difficulties), and showing players raw stats.

I prefer the more game-y stat approach - sure most guns of the same caliber have the same damage value, but best in class or niche weapons of that caliber should have a stat bump to either differentiate themselves from the main crop or help a shitty gun get some edge-case use.

Like the VSSK having more damage than the ASH-12.
