The reason we can't have actual realism is because armor and loot is tiered weirdly, and compressed into only 5 classifications of protection
If we went by NIJ standards, there would effectively be 8 armor levels, and anything that isn't a plate could only stop pistol rounds at best
That would make subcalibers useless unless you're accurate enough to shoot around the armor
But, and this is a big but, that's the point
You exchange armor pen for manageable recoil and close quarters prowess
Any vest that doesn't have a backing of kevlar would be incredibly vulnerable to such a player
Whereas kevlar + plate that's a full wraparound, like the IOTV vest, would be ideal
Make plates heavier and make steel spall, then we can have a real rock paper scissors in terms of armor

All weapons that there are are right in your palms before you even played 2 matches
Also it feels a lot more bleek imo to learn the ab guns then the eft ones, in ab you got 9mm, 45, 5.7, 762x25, 556, 762x39, 5.8, 762 54, 9x39, 762 x 51, 338 and 50 cal
In tarkov you got atleast like 12,7x55 and 4.6 more and all calibers are so much more well utilised
In ab there's like 1 viable 45 gun and that's the vector, the vec 9 is ass, the 45 cal got no game otherwise.

Generally 9mm ap works bc you got volume, 7n31 however works a lot better and imo 9mm is only really viable on the vec and the mpx.
The 338 snipers are only really used in maps like valley and mine iirc since there you really can make profit with the range advantage.
I just think that being able to reliably run the same gun on and on and on and on is ass due to being able to get the ammo reliably that works, imagine putting a block at like lvl 4 and above so you can only buy lvl 3 and below and so make it like in tarkov.
