The patch hits, it's hardcore wipe. You are doing Punisher part 4 for your epsilon container because you haven't spent 150$ on bullshit edition. You're doing so well.
You load into a map, maybe customs, maybe ground zero ? You run to the transition exit, during the run you get ratted by a bush... with a swift flick you kill the rat. He blacked out one of your legs.
You can't fix it because you ran out of CMS (you had a couple bad raids, died to a couple cheaters, Bad broken AI scav randomly tapped your head, traders don't sell CMS until level 4 and now you can't put them into your container...) fine you'll just take a painkiller but you also ran out of the good ones that last 360 seconds (they're kinda rare) so you have to use the trash 90s ones that take out all of your water.
Now you're limping to extract with no meds, no legs, no water, you obviously didnt make it to lighthouse for your punisher 4 quest and you have to restart all over again. Sit in queue do it again.
After 4 tries and 45mins of your time spent in loading times you finally manage to get to lighthouse, the map feels dead because not many players managed to get there (it started with half the pop). You see a player!!!! he's not moving because he's as scared as you to fail his quest and go back to ground zero. You line up your shot, its a headshot, he dies (btw 50% of the time he wont die cause the headshot wont register or it will be a ricochet cause it's tarkov) but there he dies !!!. 1/15 you think!

We start with only a few maps open but you can transit. This makes it significantly more time consuming to do higher level tasks on other maps right away. This slows down the games progression dramatically and will allow the early wipe to continue for much longer than it normally would, but as the locations open back up through the duration of the wipe, things start moving a little faster
