Wep maintenece is good because u have a decent chance to repair a gun back to 100% ( you dont lose dura basically ) so its nice for rare guns

• you can take spears and rare guns and fix them, you can get 30% malfunction thingie which is good

YOu have to understand it is a very hard and time consuming game

or start with Standard Edition to learn the game first, maybe go PvE mode a bit

Yes and No , the newer editions definetely give you quite the advantage over standard accounts , so i would say that part is P2W

however, it does not make you a better player and even with the better gear they give u at the start, you can still die to mistakes and lose it

you get extra trader rep which is very useful early wipe + the 2nd biggest container to hold your stuf

the container keeps everything in it unlootable

so you carry meds and other valuable things u find in it , and even if u die , you keep the items in teh container

But in the same sense, I didn’t know that anyone killed me was cheating in my first 500 hours, there were a couple things that I totally thought were cheating but just turned out to be shit like the objects and foliage being unrendered and one way audio

Of course, the cheating has progressively gotten worse. Your sever choice matters, and some people are in locations with better options than others

I almost never see people cheating in Columbia, but south US is fucking miserable. EU west is the only server I can connect to in that area and I almost never see any there either. I fully believe that OCE servers are unplayable, among other servers nearer to Asia

Games really good, I came to it as my first pc game off of the backs of things like battlefield, and looter shooters like borderlands/destiny. say that to say, I had no real experience, and was miserable aiming with MNK for a while. I’m a big “the journey is better than the destination” kinda guy when it comes to games, so learning everything I can about this always changing (sometimes better, sometimes worse) game is the big part that clicks. That and the dopamine of those good raids/finishing tasks

So that’s my 2 cents. I don’t have near as many hours as some of the other folk here do, if my math is right I have somewhere around 36-3700 hours. But I love this game and I’m really good at it, and it’s a game I would love to genuinely experience as a Timmy again. There aren’t many games I can say that about.
