If it weren’t for the fact that these quests were for kappa or other things that are arguably more important for most people in the case of punisher 6, they would make sense

An optional quest to get shotgun kills to unlock the best shotgun ammo, would be a good quest for people who like to use shotguns and want the good ammo

It just makes more sense to me to “do thing with weapon to unlock better thing for that weapon”

Most quests are very realistically complete-able by anyone with a brain, but there’s still a few where the details are just too sparse or non existent to make them near impossible to stumble into it

Of course, after playing this game for so long, many people will get a feel for where bsg puts tasks, they have also gotten better at descriptions. I rarely use wiki for anything, sometimes I forget a random part on gunsmiths, or want to double check random tasks to see if they changed, but things like gold chains for chumming are just drilled into my head.

Armor was designed a certain way with blunt damage calculation and throughput that fundamentally gets ruined in a gunfight by having TWO layers of armor on. Soft armor and a plate together just kills pen and damage, even blunt damage to a degree where people are currently eating 6+ m80 to the chest which, regardless of what armor someone has on in tarkov, is far too many shots to take direct to a plate

kaban farming early wipe when spawns are low is a gamble since, the spawns are low, but if his key is rarer it stays 2 mil longer. easily my fav money scheme
