I run a number of mods, especially AI mods that are borderline required to elevate SPT to god-tier. Between Looting Bots, SAIN, and Questing Bots, the game runs pretty significantly worse than vanilla SPT.

With that said, you can try using Lossless Scaling's frame generation. It worked really, really well for SPT for me (and pretty much every other game).

I have a pretty old CPU, a Ryzen 3500x

I get about 50fps, except Streets where I can fall as low as 30fps with a PIP scope. With Lossless frame gen, that's 100 and 60, respectively.

Compared to the plate hitbox you are VERY likely to be hit in the soft armor compared to plates and sicne 7.62 hp and 5.45 SP have more than 50 pen it goes through literally all of the soft armor in the game

Plates are basically a just a gamble if they save you or not so the soft armor is VERY important right now

random ass scav or a timmy pmc spots you then instantly blacks your leg causing damage spread to the rest of your body (about 30% or so)
