Imo the plate system is good, but the issues are multiple:

1. we have no clue about which parts are protected (how big is the plate etc).
2. plates can withstand way too many rounds it's insane. No plates whatsoever should be able to tank 25 AP6.3 rounds.
3. armor damage stat on ammo is completely useless because plates are almost invincible.
4. concussion damages are too low compared to how tanky the plates are.
5. plates are repaired way too easily in the sense that you can always use the same armor if it comes back from insurance
6. any bullet with less than 15 pen is not usable on any kind of armor. Meaning you can't even use HP rounds on soft armor (good and bad)

6. from all the pool of plates, only 2 or 3 are worth using, and those are the lightest , sicne we dont know how much difference the material makes

why would i use a 3.5kg class 4 plate when i can use the monoclete class 4 that is 1.65kg
