Hello hello, I use 2 computers to play Anomaly; I just installed GAMMA for the first time and I've been having fun so far. I would be glad if someone told me a way (paths to files I need to copy) for getting all settings to my second computer, both from Anomaly and GAMMA (including Mod Options). I've been mostly using print screen to take pictures of all settings screens until now in vanilla Anomaly, but since GAMMA has a lot of settings windows that is not really a solution anymore. Thanks
Hi, just started playing GAMMA yesterday and I'm loving it so far. However I seem to not come across any mutants in the swamps so far, is this normal or should I increase the mutant pop in ZCP? Currently both stalker and mutants are on .6 with respawn at 12 hours

ok so I have been told that defense artefacts don't degrade but I can say for a fact than mine HAVE been degrading. My heart of the oasis was at 19% earlier and now it's at 10%

Heyo, finally updated to RC3, got the game running but I fucking hate the Campfire Saving. Disabling YACS in MO2 makes the game crash on Startup though, what else can I do
YACS made me wanna throw my laptop out my window after having to replay from the same campfire in Wild Territory for 10 times (and none of the reasons being armed enemies)

I recommend keeping YACS enabled, and disabling the saving via MCM
I looked into MCM briefly, didn't find an option to disable there

its under the YACS tab, think its really close to it's called "enable campfire saving"
unticking it reverts saving to normal, quicksaves and all
you can also just open up the console and use type "save" then enter to create a quick save

this should remove rad zones grain fx and also the beeps sound from certain mutants, tested it very quickly. It also fix a tiny incompatibility I found in a file between soundscape overhaul and ABF

they spawn again after the quest is done if your clear sky squad that was sent with you dies, so it will be filled with military again sooner or later

did 2 quests for those mercs and now every friendly faction quest lowers merc goodwill 
best way to get goodwill to actually hostile factions: do one task for them, no matter what, just make sure you are in the + with them, go to the eggheads and do tasks for them, does not work for Bandits because they are kind of cunts
also doing missions for Clear sky while you are a loner and have at least a bit of goodwill from the Mercs can and will also increase your goodwill with mercs, without loosing goodwill with the other factions (unless we talk about bandits)
well you always can not do tasks for mercs and just disguise your self as one, as specially if you have the "deep pocket" achievement

How does the Mysteries of the Zone questline really work actually? After talking to Doc you get a bunch of different target locations, but are they all supposed to actually contain stuff? I've searched the entire Agroprom Underground but i didn't find anything other than the documents you usually find in Strelok's hideout. Or does the quest just not update until you've found it all or something?
the P220 also has a kit that lets it keep the .45 barrel

Gamma is fantastic, but... I cant make progress. Playing hard, surv. Ironman. Rookie village. Where ever I go I am getting shot at from enemies I cant see. Run back to Sid and waste all money on healing items. Cant get past bridge. I LOVE IT. Incredible. Any tips on how to progress 🙂

It's also sort of a bug.
first you might want to lower the difficulty you start with if you are new to gamma, also make sure you dont just rush all around without a care in the world, use routes around the usual mutant/stalker spots unless you need to clear them.
collect parts of guns and outfits whenever you can and make sure to loot stashes as they can have useful medical items
loot all ammo and keep it in a stash or disassemble it to make other types of ammo
in cordon use the "tunnel with electro anomalies" to cross north instead of the bridge

I like it hard. Past 5 years I have played all my open word rpg games in Ironman 🙂 I think the military has ocupied the bridge sniping from the train. Mutants are not so problematic. Can usually avoid by jumping on rocks, cars and dodging. Tried the tunnel on a few runs always to be welcomed by 5 bandit patrols on the other end 🙂 Thanks. Going to keep going. The hardest thing is the long view range of enemy soldiers.
use the free zoom to your advantage, its mouse 4 by default i think
and use cover more

well only thing i can tell: get used to actually sneak around more than you walk. Do tasks, go slow and use free zoom and binos like its 2nd nature

alright, but I Dont use free zoom. Thats cheating 🙂 Going to try the stealth approach. Cause it myst be visual detection that the enemy use to see me. For sure they cant hear me from 100 meters away

do like me and set all economy difficulties on EZ mode and gameplay on hard mode, you'll get loads of money and loot from stashes but you'll still be progression locked by what you can find armor and guns wise on bodies
so once you make mags active they have to stay active for that save

for field stripping, you need to better the condition of the weapon to be able to field strip it, note that field striping the weapon not only need good condition but also will cost you condition, so you better stock up on dem cleaning kits

Those are cleaning tools used to maintain your guns.
so the gun icon marks a "cleaning" item (yes they are for cleaning and crafting only in gamma) for GUNS
the Pin or "Rocket" is a Repair item, that only works with a certain range of items who can be repaired
the screwdriver and i forgor how that thing is called in english is the symbol for tools who also can fix shit
you can always check "details" of your guns and parts to see what kind of repair kit you need and what kind of cleaning kits do work with them

About suit repair, does replacing parts raise a suits condition? Or is this suit i found at 11% condition a lost cause? I only ask because nothing i'm noticing in the mechanics stock of consumables allows for repairing neither parts nor suits below 50% condition. So do i need to hit the jackpot and rng a suit above 50%, and anything below is instant dismantle?

This is that entry in my installation, before me doing anything outside of rebind keys in-game, which i did once at beginning of playthrough, DIK_C doesn't exist in the entire gamma rc3/mods folder (at least the string search i performed didn't return any results from dik_c)
Via in game, keybinds > companion wheel = "=" (side mouse button)
But, with that key in keybinds set as "=" the script in the image says mouse3, and it is different from Lauta_ro's image link

actually had a similar question, gave my guy a saiga with red condition i believe, he gave it back with 0% (unless it was zero to begin with, i didn't notice when i gave it to him)
He was using it and his original weapon, swapping between them, but then it seemed like he stopped using the saiga, and around that time i took it back to find it at 0%

Im sorry to bother but my game is really missing the Forester kit i think, i visited all traders (using some questionable methods) for confirmation and tried spawning it in debug mode but it simply doesn't exist, the silencer kit is there but the weapon body upgrade itself is not (K98 forester mod), weird stuff

So, is SSAO quality probably one of the most taxing settings?
I'm running 3900X, 32GB DDR4 3600, 2080 Ti, and the game was running great 75FPS pegged for hours yesterday, but after tweaking a few settings and a restart today, it tanked down to 30FPS and couldn't figure it out. I turned SSAO back down to medium and restarted the game, and that seemed to have fixed it. All the other settings I can basically nearly max out. Seems weird to me.

With the reshade, it made the sky too bright and everything under it too dark, so I couldn't see anything

gamma default settings turn sdao to high, and on medium there isnt a difference at simple eyesight and i got +5fps average ( 1080 ti playing on 1080p with reshade on )

you should only take damage from starvation and thirst if the white icons for them show up next to the health UI but the damage is really small, when the icons turn yellow or red they will start doing quite a bit of damage

Something that annoys me about this game is that it tries to be a bit realistic, survival and all that, but in real life, things like repair kits, files, ram rods, multi-tools and what not aren't consumables to the point that you can only use them a couple of times before they stop working. A file, for example, is something you can use for a lifetime (not twice before it breaks), and a bottle of CRC or Hoppe's lasts months or even years depending on how often you use it (not 5 times). I wonder if there's a mod that makes this more realistic and less ridiculous just for the sake of making the game annoying.

Nah, the game is doing something wrong. Make the survival portion of it more difficult, and the tools last as long as they should. In real life, other things make surviving difficult. It's weather, exposure, defending against animals and other humans, accidents, injuries, etc. that make surviving difficult. Your tools are the only thing you can often rely on. Sure, tools fail sometimes, but not at this rate.

I'm going to make everything else more difficult, and make my tools last.

Use bandage then use medkit for health and a post healing item such as ideproffin
bandages and then yadulin or ibuprofen, there are other items as well and you can check each item for yellow healing(first aid) dots and white healing dots(post heal).

I'm a bit late but 1 thing that helped me a lot to get familiar with the heal / postheal system - You can look at your body parts health on the bottom left while you mouseover healing items. The bar will show you how much of a heal or a post heal you will actually get

No. The one I'm taking about was so much better. Sadly I dont have any screenshots to show. I think the one you have mentioned is bundled with gamma. It was by an uploader named bmblbx176. He's not on moddb now. Like I said, he was responsible for dynamic mutants and dynamic nocturnal mutants. I only have just started gamma so I'm yet to compare.

Do silencers have any effect on ballistics or ai? As I understand they degrade weapons faster so I've never used them. Is there any benefit?
Coupled with crouching and some range the people you shoot at will stumble about trying to locate you for a few seconds
well quite a few seconds actually
if you shoot loud they always insta shoot back
they only reduce muzzle velocity, but for positives they make you harder to spot while shooting i think, probably works better with stealth kills
Can i ask if anyone has tried running GAMMA on a Steam Deck yet? I've seen a video of anomaly 1.5.1 running but not sure if the deck could take all the mods.
This is more of a general anomaly question, but if I turn off dynamic anomalies in the middle of a run, will the anomalies then return to their static placements or will they stay where they were last dynamically placed?

for gun parts, they are just trash. but for armor parts check if they have a hammer in their icon as that means they are used for crafting
and you dont need good condition parts for crafting
