its a fairly common feature in slower paced shooters from what I have seen. Irl what happens is your eye isn't well aligned with the scope
happens when moving etc so strafing in game causes it
watching a youtube tutorial about scope shadows and now this actualy makes sense,holding onto scope while moving like a cheetah on steroids tends to to that i imagine
alternatively you could wobble up to a scope not centered and play peek-a-boo with the actual reticle and the void
definitely a question for jabbers. i've been meaning to do some testing in gamma with this mod since I think goodwill is being reset by something else in gamma on a new save but everything else works flawlessly.

Im having the same issue as the other guy, the whole save takes minutes to load initially (on an nvme ssd) and quicksaves freeze the game for a few seconds. This was all minutes after starting the game, not after a long play session

Loaded it up, saved a few times then closed, to see why it was freezing when saving and why load times sucked
make sure you are opening the text document called log and make sure you are opening the right one if there is multiple, you could also be looking at the wrong anomaly install if you have multiple of those

make sure to restart the game every 2-4 hours and delete the shaders_cache folder in anomaly/appdata, but when does it specifically stutter? if its while looking at campfires or certain anomalies it could be cvfx

Ok there is a log full log file now that ive reloaded and walked around
you can try doing a complete installation #๐ฝhow-to-update , i usually only update every few days and only use a complete installation since gamma updates have caused errors before
and it feels a bit smoother with fps and less stutters, but every few updates there is always one that just kills stability

Is it just me or is the AUGmented Weaponpack kinda fkd FOV wise? Did update my game, but the AUGs are pretty far away up to a point where you see the end of your arm/ inside it and when using iron sights they are really close (fixable with toggled iron sights).
which gun exactly? the a1 is broken and it should not spawn in a normal game, only in debug so dont use that one

Hello! New to GAMMA Trying to cook dog chops (purified) with Field cooking tool does nothing! I have above-mentioned tool, meat and coal, Jerrycan, Kerosen in my backpack. Press USE on field cooking and in listed recipes, dog chops(purified) appears greyed out(right panel say liquid fuel only but is greyed out, despite I have liquid fuel). Has anyone an idea what is wrong? Thank you

So if you want purified meal you need kerosene/jerrycan and a drink which can be vodkas or water canteens
you can use cooking kit next to a campfire, you dont need fuel
it cooks low tier meat and low tier recipes only
multifuel stove can cook high tier meats and recipes but you need liquid fuel and vodka

Here, you get tonnes of wound healing, ballistics resistance, and explosive resistance.
Here you get more spread out resistances, granted better rupture and impact res.
exosuit is literally an upgrade from a skat-9 and a grassland one is even better

The radsuit will perform better than Skat9 with artefacts, for sure.
If we exclude that, as if someone doesn't have artefacts, the Skat9 is lighter and offers more carry capacity overall. High explosive resistance and comparatively similar ballistics resistance, better wounds healing (6 vs 2) and health restoration (2 vs 1).

With the Radsuit, you must pick either wounds or health restoration.
Skat9 is a superior combat outfit without artefacts.

One such fix is already included by Grok. It reduced the volume and pitch, but if it's still too much for you there's a way to edit the sound file.
Hello, i have a question. Yesterday i was playing like a looner and used an AK (7.62) to take down a group of bandits in the Cordon, it takes like 5 to 6 bullets to the chest to take them down and 3 to 4 in the head. It was strange for me and i repeated that a few times to be sure. Anyone can help me? Iam just using GAMMA as it comes installed, didn't change anything

also, what armor were they wearing? higher armor can reduce or even stop damage if the BR on the ammo is not enough to go through

the barrel can reduce your gun's damage significantly the lower its condition is
and AP power as well
thats why finding a gun with a functional or dirty barrel is a good find

when you want to close the crafting UI, make sure your mouse is not on top of any icons, that way you can avoid the bug

you need to give a mechanic all 3 toolkits to get the achievement
with it bonus items give 2% more on all repairs

When you repair something, the base is 25%. When you use it supporting another repair item (Which I don't think you can?) the repair bonus is 2%.
repair bonus is for outfits, base repair is for outfits parts
Say you use it on a Textile, you'd get base 25% repair. If you used an emergency repair kit and then used the thread as supportive material, you get 2% + whatever that kit's base repair is

Have armor at 11%. It works with the medium repair kit. I have to replace damaged components with a new component.
If I use the medium armor repair kit, nothing pops up. What am I missing? 
You need a toolkit to open up a workbench first. That or use a vice. But vices cost money at first anyways so don't do that.

Using the repair kit itself needs the armor to be at 60% or something to that value and then you use up a usage of that repair kit to repair the entire armor itself.
so dont use vices. just right click on a toolkit and open crafting menu, get some repaired parts and replace the old ones and click the repair button
it wont consume the repair kit to replace parts

You have either "Find Tools for (name)" which is a three-tiered taskline to improve technicians supply.
The other you might have got is Dr. X's storyline. Which takes you to a random selection of NPCs whom have various different available one-time tasks, which in turn leads you to another NPC, etc.

oh i had that feeling often as well, until i found out: im just making to much damn noise and run around the zone like its death match.
you can actually avoid every conflict IF you somehow manage to keep a low profile while also more or less knowing where enemies are at, and where they go, and most importantly where they look, its hard but possible.
Problem with mutants is, depending on the Mutant it self they have basically two modes "fight" and "flight", "fight" will make them go after you with near zealots level of killing intend, while "flight" will make them try to avoid you like the plague. This behaviour has a problem in it self, since most Mutants will only go into flight if they are near death or spooked. Spooking a mutant is easy, if its a flesh - impossible if its any sort of psi mutant.
Most aggressive Mutants (the hunting ones, like dogs or bloodsuckers) have a greater detection range, in order to find prey. While stuff like Flesh or Boars or Flesh/boar hybrids (the Flesh with the boars head) will only attack if they have enough numbers, the hunting mutants will go after you, even if they are alone.
Yes this can result in both sort of Mutants charging over the hill, just because they heard you, or the right one of them did see you close enough for a sec.
Only thing you can do is going slower, dont trust routes you took just 5min earlier - you never know what creeped up there while you didnt look. Use your mark 1 eyeballs and your mark 1 ears to get information on your surroundings, use scopes and the binos you get a better look on what is further away from you.
If you think you did hear something behind you, chances are: there is something behind you. If you think there is something over that hill, there most likely is something over that hill. Stalker gives a lot of hints, if you look for them

Thanks for the answer. My expererience is that mutants such as boars and flesh aggro really far. Often further then visual range if there are bushes / trees in between. Also as example. In rookie village if you have mission to clean out mutants south of the village then the military is aggroed and war starts between loners and military.

How does the artefact condition bar work? I know that 'broken' artefacts are less efficient and give less bonuses/maluses butdo they degrade over time?

only perk artis degrade but you can disable it
radioactive artefacts dont degrade overtime
Defense arefacts don't degrade and come as 5 - 20%. Perk ones degrade over time and come as 100%.
You can use the artefacts melter tool from Sakharov to empower Artefacts of craft new ones
perk based ones degrade with use(while being in a belt slot)

Go to Sakharov or Hermann and buy an Artifact Melter, you can combine artifacts and make them stronger that way
