in that case it would remind me of what i could only describe as a crawling corruption stemming from FDDA (it did soft and then hardlock a save of mine back in RC1 once, but only once and i have no idea how i managed that)

Shift doesn't work for me as well. If I hold it and click two times then the whole stack is transferred. Just like with Control. So damn annoying when you're full of loot 😩

wearing a nosorog with a spartan helmet is like cheating
because the spartan helmet is already part of the suit
suits got re balanced their old with integral helmet values do not apply
so no you just wear a better exo suit on a frame and what ever helmet you choise for it

taking this apart gave me a spartan helmet
i gave you the wrong info, because the radsuit does not have the helmet icon on top like the monolith nosorog does
my guess is that "Gamma Icons" has some kind of script that prevents you from getting a helmet from a suit
which is weird considering "Gamma Armors no integrated helmet" and "Cr3pis Iconpack Helmet Less Armors" are both enabled
Gamma icons is just .dds files in the texture folder, you can check it yourself in Mo2. I think there might be something wrong with the No Helmet mod itself.

For what it's worth, I've been playing an RC1 save in RC3 with no problems after disabling pretty pistols so that does work.
I've also noticed that RC3 without FDDA seems to have almost completely solved my busy hands issues that were plaguing me almost constantly in RC1 without FDDA.
If it helps anyone else, I also removed the "alt" key from disassembling, which seems to have helped possibly, maybe with the event queue?
I know this isn't a question, I was merely responding to someone mentioning old save issues above.
Thanks again Grok for all your work, and I personally think that you're entitled to bad moods with all the work you put in. I'm sure no one takes any offence at it. If I made this pack, and these channels, I'd be going out at night throwing bricks through random windows to relieve the stress 🙂
to jump on that, i use FDDA but only for actual Item use and it wasnt a problem so far, but i noticed that it still can mess with your save a bit (early signs are missing text from disassembling stuff shorty after skinning mutants, as a lootgoblin rat my self i often get into situation of "cleaning the aftermath" of fights i might have not actually been part of. Oh and i mean you get no text message about what you got from disassembling) if you have the skinning animations on. Usually quick console save and then reload via main menu solves that issue.
Can confirm that removing the "Alt" key from disassembling does also seem to help quite a lot

You can change values in the o_backpack, looks easier

remember that after any update of the gamma installator any changes will be cancelled, so you will have to manually change it again or you can create a separate addon with this file only to keep your changes through gamma updates
here for you, just install this as usual with the mo2 and place it after all other addons, then you can easily change all the numbers inside and keep this changes till you don't need them

from what i gathered and experienced from my own play throughs (i tried to force busy hand at some point to understand how and why) it does seem to help at certain circumstances like having a lot to break down, but i would say just not playing the animations outside from item usage from FDDA helped the most

Yes for FDDA Rework 2.0 I plan to only have items animations for healing stuff. Drinks and food are kind of optional, mutant stuff is a nice touch but doesn't impact gameplay. Oh and cigs will receive a new animation. I'll maybe keep the drinks animations and food animations with a toggle, let's see

only "problem" i have is that the actor hold the Cigs like its a fucking commercial then again, ppl want to show of their hard work somehow. Also agree it takes as long to skin mutants with and without animation, so while it looks nice i can live without it
you can disable some mods but they have patches and other mods you need to disable with them, you dont just disable the body health system without its patches or you get a crash

yes, please keep fdda with a toggle, or in optional. Maybe it's just me, but it just seems like way too much potential trouble/baggage for a few hand waves/gestures in front of the screen. They don't really do much for me in terms of enriching the game, I'm more focused on killing/looting/staying alive than watching an animation when I chug a drink or pop a pill.

it depends on where of the zone you spend the most time and who you kill and near whos base
so if you are near an enemy base they will have a higher chance of sending squads

theres 2 flashlights at new game, one is 50 and the other is 300, taking both and removing both lowers the counter to -250 because the 50 one reverts to the 300 for some odd reason.

it got "balanced" a bit but you will still run into powerful mutants early just less of them

It may be a mistake on my end but higher tier NPCs in Cordon can take multiple (4-6) high center mass shots from a sawed-off toz custom at 7 meters or less. Example: CQB at the village in The Cordon, NE from Rookie Village.

no, you can only replace them in the crafting menu (vice or tool kit)
if the suit is above 65% you can use the sewing kits to repair it and parts will be repaired as well

if you mean at a technician you cant, if you repair it yourself however its 65% i think minimum to repair with sewing kits and bellow that you have to replace parts

Hey all, I've been playing for a few days now and it's been great, but I can't for the life of me find a damn toolbox so I can actually craft/repair my stuff. I've been searching stashes (and narrowly avoiding certain death by chimera), killing everything in my way and I still can't find them. Is there a setting I'm missing? Also, every single piece of armour drops with such low condition that it's actually impossible to get better gear because my old shit doesn't just break. I'm still wearing the leather jacket I started with. Can anyone help?

@light timber if you have mags redux it doesnt matter what you upgrade and what the mag size says, its only the mags you use for it, i can for example use 60 rounders on a m4 that says 30 mag capacity
so i actually have 12 shots on my p220 now ?
you can also try retooling the mags if it allows to see if its the 12 shot one

You can re–enable them, just look for FDDA in the bottom left corner of MO2 and activate everything but you might get the busy hands issue (can't do anything but reloading, pretty annoying)

In the same way, you can also repair some of the parts and you can craft them too.
There is no "easy and fast" way in Gamma, only "slow and resourceful". Except you are Ald, then rules do not apply to you

Just look into the details of the repair kits man, do a bit of your own research. Most stuff is all explained in game, right click -> details is your friend

If y gun is over 25% cleanliness (general condition), then you can change all parts except the barrel with just drag&drop.

Check your barrel if it's really damaged then that's the problem

OK the answer to this one might just be "use your eyes/ears" but how do people quickly identify where they are being shot from? I seem to really struggle with this in open areas more so than I can recall with vanilla/modded anomaly.
Usually the blood indicator on screen will kind of point toward the direction if you got hit
Are there specific items to heal Limbs? This is my first time playing a stalker mod with limb health and I noticed healing items so far only seems to give it temporary health points.
You can see if a medical item heals your limbs by looking at the description. Should be something like "post-heal" and should be some white dots that tell how which limb/s they heal and by how much

When I took the parts from my old sks via "field strip" they became 0%. After reloading my save I was able to take them and that they stay in their condition. This also happened with the barrel via "disassemble", once again after retrying it worked fine. Is there a random chance or I just got an issue ?

FDDA animations are disabled by default in MO2
yes you can re-enable it by going the animations and turning on FDDA and then going to Fixes and turning on GAMMA FDDA rework. WARNING it was removed because it could cause a really bad busy hands glitch
