like artefact empowering... does it work on perked artefacts? Does it actually improves the characteristics? Does it only improve the durability? I disabled durability for artefacts, so that's that.

anyway you can craft a LLC into an IAC (improvised application container) which is for artifacts up to 7msv/s, the IAC can be crafted into a AAC (Artifact application container) which is save to use up to 12msv/s and that one can be crafted into an AAM (artifact application module) which is save to use for artifacts up to 23msv/s also note that the higher the radiation protetion the heavier the container gets
who sells resistors, capacitors and transistors?
you can buy them as old broken "junk" technical items from most traders but flea market in garbage sells the most
broken detectors, old head lamps and really anything with electronics in it even if its new but you dont need it

pdas are better be checked for stashes and then just deliver them for info, its money and stash locations. getting scrap is easy enough from other items anyways

like upgraded weapons get heavier as well, even tho the upgrade tells you that you use lighter weight materials that are stronger
I think part of that is the additional weight bonus of the outfit. Hence why when you use the looted exo which doesnt have the exo skeleton itself the weight of the armor is matched by the bonus carry weight

most exo suits are give you basicly their weight as extra carry weight

I don't think they're that smart to get cover in that situation, because they're your companions in that moment, not just some generic NPCs with a specific routine
Alternative solution is have him wait somewhere you know is cover. I had a situation in the cordon like that and i ended up using the j key to jump my companion to me then hit the wait here button and ignore combat
Ignore combat is important because ive seen those fuckers wonder out and sprint down a dog 100 meters away
In RC2 there should be (if Grok added it) a mod that kinda solve this problem, if they get to far away because they absolutely need to chase that dog, after a specific amount of meters they come back to you

EDIT: today I learned that you can only take stuff with 0 or with demo_record 1, you can't search inside stashes
the system with which the mags work requires you to have 1 slot free if you dont want to have to reassine the mag to your loadout, since if you reload you have one mag in your weapon that is part of the loadout and the rest in the inventory, if you now reload you have one to many (unless you have a higher slot free) and it will delete the mag from you weapon from the loadout
note only from the loadout it will not physically disapear
im 2/3 with 1 in the weapon
to be fair i had to press enter to get stuffed in the spot, you hitbox barely fits into it
without killing you
once one is empty it gets put back in the bag and i have to keep ctrl clicking it to go back in the slot

but you have the slots free so if the one mag in your gun is part of the loadout you should not have problems
on the other hand mags and ammo check crashed my game a few time (i call busy hands)
- if you disable it, your game will crash, because it gets stuck with your current save, so you either finish the whole game with it or start a new one without it

If you are asking if you should use AP ammo, then no. HP ammo still does most damage, they are just stupidly tanky
They usually take 20-30 slugs from my Saiga. Headshots do a lot more damage, though
Aim for the face to deal most possible damage.
(Or use explosives if you want to spare your shotgun some durability.)

Technically yes. Since you're filling all the slots where it should spawn, it would force the stash to find an available slot further north.

I'm basing that off of my thousands of hours playing CoP, Misery, Anomaly, and GAMMA—and I've never seen a "double stacked" stash ever.
The only way that happens is if you take out one item from a stash (causing the marker to fade), leave it, and another marker appears on the same stash.

In older titles you'd improve damage when upgrading accuracy (along with precision, of course). Since that is no longer the case, the cap is 100% accuracy and anything above that is wasted potential.

and errors are back, deleting user.ltx makes me not crash but now I get shader compile error, deleting shader cache does nothing, launching game without mo2 works but once I try starting from MO2 it's back the the first error

If not—Shotgun, Rifle, and Sniper combo is the meta.

well you only have the setting under Options>Gameplay>Gameplay .diff>Sleep deprivation, which can be toggled - means if its on you will get tired if its off you will not get tired

Psy-Mutants outright feel you, Chimeras are fucking Apex-Predators, every sort of Ghost has a big field in which it will notice you, flesh and boars do what they want - bloodsuckers have extremely good eyesight, i swear to god burers feel the vibration your footsteps make kilometers away from them and snork are kind of rapy
rule of thump: make as less noise as posibru, shooting without a silencer sounds awesome in this modpack - but also attracks everything outside the CNPP towards cordon if you shoot, which often gets you into "the whole zone and her mom tries to kill you" situations
also note that Mutants have relations upon each other, i think Anomaly uses the sets from CoP if memory serves. So Neutral towards each other mutants will form a hunting party from time to time
how do you increase supply for mechanics? I'm at minimal rep for loners and xenotech is still at lvl 1

they all start with normal tools into advanced into expert tools
you get a pretty useful achievement for the first time fully stacking a mech and he will get one supply level per quest done
note that you will need a full set of tools your self unless you craft where you stacked the mech, every toolkit you gave to him will be part of his workbench - if there is a medic around his base the Medical-Tool-Kit will be added to the workbench as well. Gunsmithing tools will have to be on you tho (you can sell the spare for good money tho, at the mech)
also dont have the expert tool kit

103 is a great mid to early late game weapon, only problem i usually have with them is that the ammo is expensive
tend to be finding quite a good number of that ammo tbh
to repair the actual parts of the weapons, in the RC1 version of Gamma you dont have to "care" about the parts of suits but note that that will change
but most important to fucking craft stuff - like the best Powersupplies for Exoscelletions are only optained by crafting, crafting new ammo is a really good way to save money through out the whole run and making your own meds is always great. Oh of course im talking about while you are out there in the Zone and not at the base with a blanket and a mug of hot chocolate @static lake

Yeah I've gotten that part down. To replace the barrel you need to use the gunsmith kit right? Along w a rep kit and a new barrel
you can use the gunsmithing tool to enter the crafting menu, after that you need the toolkit needed by the weapon and a fresh barrel
so yeah technical speaking you need the gunsmithing tool for that
but you can to that with every Tool-kit that brings you into the crafting menu, the right repair kits and the right spare parts
So i installed the mags mod and it seems to be working fine. Do traders sell mags or is it like weapons and you can only loot them?

but since traders sell ammo i assume they also sell mags
I checked the two cordon traders, they didn't seem to have mags.
try to check them tomorrow ingame, if they still dont sell mags eject every mag you find in any weapon you find on any body you come across

oh before i forget @static lake in case you are new to the body health system, first of all Grok did make a full overhaul to meds so make sure to study them a bit (they will be changed for RC2-3 but for now you should try to know what you need). Also even with full health if you Torsor (upper right bar in the Healthsystem to the lower left in your hud) is gone you die, same for the head (left upper bar) if any or both of or arms (both middle bars) go on a strike because of abuse : have fun aiming anything, if your legs (both lower bars) say bye bye ya cant run and sprinting will start to hurt and might even kill you since you loose health (the body in the middle of the system) the lowest bar is your stamina and the bar on top is your "will to live" aka mental health in case you are also new to psy attacks.
First Aid will give you a temporary (transparent) health for the bodyparts while postheal will fill up that temporary bar. Sleeping will heal a lot of limp damage but not so much health
oh and if you notice a bar filling up just a bit over your stamina bar: congratulations you are getting cancer so better take some anti rad

just tested it, seem to happen with IAC AAC and AAM containers, the artifact will be displayed and seems to behave like its at 100% and lose all power then you take it out but go back to 100% if you put them back into one of thies 3 Containers
explains why my empowered and crafted artifacts went to 100% after putting them into the respected application container, im sure as hell dont take them out ever i would cry

i just murdered my 4 companions (for...reasons) and while i was putting my items into their corpses, i realized that they still do keep their max weight limit. You can put tons of items into a stash but you can't put tons of items into a dead stalker
so i'm assuming they have an entirely different container class
maybe you have encountered the infamous "busy hands" issue...
