doing missions for all the ecologists/loners/clearsky that could be wandering around there and having a trader that asks for mutant parts or artefacts as quests while having a few easy artefact hunting areas around and a box inside the bunker to use as a stash. yes it does sound like a nice base

ok, so I made my folks stay in Bog, then I travelled to Cordon, and their helth bars became grey. Then I did the safari quest and after I completed it, my followers' health became green again. But they haven't appeared anywhere. I went back to the Bog, and their hp became grey again. Then I went back to Cordon and their hp is green. But I don't see them anywhere. What should I do now?

That's about another dynamic mutant addon, but was an intersting thing i didnt know about
why do i still have a 44 day save with 4 stashes filled with 1k+ kg of loot and its not broken ? i dont think gamma has that problem so its probably just something with the mod or the mods themselves (the comment is referring to)
maybe it's not the items but npcs (stalkers, mutants etc)?
because i'm fairly certain i had playthroughs where my backpacks were filled with more than enough stuff to reach that 65285 mark
but even then the game will clear the IDs when they become obsolete (npc dies, id gets deleted) so i don't see how you could reach that mark

How do you mean? That artifacts spawn with little durability? You can uncheck "GAMMA Artefacts Reinvention" in MO2 for that
it works the same for every artifact, it just has to be reloaded with other artifacts so you can craft and empower them

anybody else gets "forced to look" at the mutant you just skinned? Like your Cam swings back at it and you can fight all you want it will force you back to the mutant to look at it. after its done, like the mutant is in the centre of the screen you can go your marry way as if nothing happened. I noticed that in other mod packs and its usually not a problem, but for some reason i forgor its also a thing in gamma and it got me curios what the cause could be.

Hi guys, I want to install G.A.M.M.A. but I have a question. Considering I have a portable instance of ModOrganizer 2 for Fallout 4 and 3 global instances for FO New Vegas, Tale of two wastelands and Skyrim, what are the problems I could encounter installing G.A.M.M.A.?

How feasible is it for me to avoid downloading the heavy (in size) graphic mods to save bandwidth? Are patches deeply tied in that will cause issues? Can I just substitute some of the early 1.51 graphic mods I have painfully downloaded instead (mostly AI upscale textures)? ok, there are severe problems with skinning/butchering. Sometimes after I'm done, the camera keeps trying to focus on the body. Sometimes, if someone pushes me a little bit when I start butchering, then I lose control over the character, nothing works, but the butchering animation never starts and I'm just stuck like that. I can't even load, or exit to menu. I have to alt+f4 the game and start over

you are not eating enough probably, also using medical items can make you really hungry. always check the hunger bar in your inventory to see if you have eaten enough

you can check mechanics inventories, sometimes they sell weapon parts but i think its randomized? i didnt check if thats the case
also once you craft the repair kit that the mosin uses you can just right click on the gun and maintain parts and replace the part that needs replacements
will consume one use from the repair kit

crafting is a lot more viable in gamma, you have all recipes unlocked and you only need to get tool kits to make progress

It may be because it was the first time i checked(?) I had a save at northern farm at a campfire before i talked to xenotech for the first time and thats what i reloaded after checking what i needed

reloading a save does not seem to change the parts being sold, also it seems that the type of parts is determined by the faction of the mechanic (WP/NATO)
they get more parts when you give them toolkits for their missions and they start selling other repair items as well

in the mcm for zcp just enable zombified in the stalkers section, but apparently when they are enabled using zcp they spawn everywhere and too many of them(without this they still spawn at their bases in AA complex in jupiter and the sawmill in zaton)
And they are quite boring tbh

Oh yep, I know about that. In previous Stalker games you could edit actor.ltx and system.ltx to adjust the max_weight, doesn't work with the GAMMA modpack
You can easily change additional_inventory_weight lines in mod_system_g_a_m_m_a_no_integrated_helmets_in_armors

You need to use a repair kit or something like that, you can't replace it "by hand"
When you have the kit inside your inventory, right click on the weapon, "maintain X", click on it

Right click on the weapon, "details" if I'm not wrong, scroll down, you'll see the specific tool you need for that specific gun

well I'm in a truck park. and there were two of them: the black and the regular one together. So tight space, makes it harder to dodge
And when you go in the northern parts of the map, that means that you have good gear

The documents should be up the top of the stairs in the observation room. In the original stalker the door would close and fire anomaly would soawn
make sure you are holding f while looking for it, never know if you would miss it but its name popping up helps and also check

@brisk zinc earlier you mentioned something about cooking food. Which cooking "kit" is the best do you think? The army Kettle? or the Multi fuel stove?
there are tiers of mutant meat, multifuel stove can cook all of them and has infinite uses but is limited by the costs of the liquid fuel
if you just started you can just use the field cooking kit since its just really common
it really depends on what you have access to

Speaking of debug, I couldn't get it to work earlier when I was trying to test the radiation to see if I was insane or not

- Tick Debug Mode
- Launch the game from there
- In the main menu, check on the bottom left, if you have this (look the pic), you can close the game and play with your preferred DX

its not a bug, grok changed carry weight values back to anomaly values since carry weight didnt change with artefact condition

Genuine question, don't hate too much please. I have trouble finding any interest in artifacts compared to regular Stalker SoC and his 2 brothers. They are heavy and you need a heavy canister to use it. I'm OK with that. What I don't get is the following : apart fron the empty, which ones are actually useful?

it will drop in condition and will jam sometimes but maintaining it is not really an option since it drops condition so fast when companions use it
volat emerald can allow you to literally walk through an anomaly field, compass is also a powerful ballistic one but with different stats than full empty and you can craft a gold fish if you didnt find one and just use it as it is for extra 7 kg of weight if its low condition enough it will only give 1msv per second and you can easily just have a radiation removing belt attachment. you can craft artefacts so just right click on the artefact melter and see what artefacts you can craft and their stats

How common is it that I get sniped by Monolith Master with Toz shotgun with buckshot from roughly 200-250 meters away with 3 succesful hits in a row? Is there anyway to reduce the enemies difficulty because Anomalys own settings dont seem to do a thing anymore
It shouldn't be that bad especially if your wearing even mid tier armour as armour blocks buckshot really well. Try ramping up base enemy dispersion to the max

On my way out, I had to go through the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, there was a pseudogiant.
I wasted like 5 grenades and about 150 of 5.45 AP rounds.

As a general rule of thumb i learned from too much experimenting with mods whenever you dont know what repair kits are compatible with what right click then go to details. It list compatible stuff
Right click on armor > Details
Or just go to any trader, hover on your armor and check what you can use

Did you pay to use a vice? It'll let you know when you no longer have access
when this happens try to save by opening the console and using the save command. if the game crashes try to revert to an earlier save where this wasn't happening or in my experience there may be a bugged out task in your to-dos and you will want to load a working save and try to fast travel to that location and complete it. usually what happens to me is a kill quest for some bandits just ends up in the back of the wild territory where it's not supposed to be and xray just doesn't like that and breaks down.

ok so i was in jupiter and my mission to eradicate some infedels and i killed all of them but it didnt say that the task has been updated and it stayed there, so i left at that and walked away and now that save has long gone, so idk that quest marker is still there any idea?
i assume that's a monolith task and i haven't done a monolith playthough yet so i can't really help you there. the best advice i can give you is to just revert to an earlier save if you have one or find a working save and try and clear the tasks (if there are any that look suspect). just trying to give you a sanity check since sometimes mods will break but it has nothing to do with them and it's really just xray not doing what it's supposed to do.
the task was no deffrint from other faction missions, just kill everybody at this camp and come back for reward, but you there's this function in the debug called refresh game and i tried it couple of times but it sometimes just fkin killed all your missions in your pda only the main quest stays.

you cant use axes to skin mutants but they are really powerful for melee damage so if you are going to run around with an axe as a melee weapon have a knife in your inventory to skin mutants

1 by itself but there was 2 packs. One by the northern garbage entrance and one in the southern half by a stash on a hill
balanced spawns is disabled by default in gamma(i am not sure but i think grok didnt intend that) so for the most part you are testing something a lot of players here didnt even have enabled. my point is i really dont know if thats intended or not but i think the best way to know is either test it or ask the mod author i guess
its zcp 1.4 thats in gamma but with a special preset to try and balance it a bit

its the vanilla anomaly extra docs that no one needs for quests as a loner, you can give them to major faction traders for money and some extra items "i found some old documents are you interested"

yeah, thies documents are used in some addons with extra questlines, so unless you use one of thies just try to get the best money out of it

some of them are from clear sky and you can do as anyone who is neutral to them and some of them are ecologists (idk if those ones require these specific docs)
but with the way anomaly is i wouldnt be surprised if you got stuck in VR, xray engine

The lost signal quests. Are they annoying? 🙂 I avoid them. I also avoid any "help stalker get from A to B" missions
I think they wouldn't worth the time
help stalker get from A to B can be useful and only take ones if you are headed in that direction anyways, its basically a free companion for the journey and money for it as well

i usually do the the lost signal quests, sometimes you find nice stuff on the dead during thies missions, take stalker from A to B... i only do them if im heading into that direction anyway
but yeah lost signal can be annoying af
they dont even give a general area...

also they are usualy somewhere in like 3-5 areas (you get to know them after a while) from my experience
