Understanable but that basically removes other gamplay mechanics since you can already access staches from anywhere aslong as your in that zone. Just buy backpacks and use them for infinite storage.
No reason to why you need everything on you at all times, that would basically remove the gamplay and dificulty.

game was working, haven't played for days, Tried using mod orginizer for other games realizing it's fucked because gamma fucked it hard and made it useless for other games. and i then decided to help my friend install it and i know why his isn't working but mine i have no idea why it isn't working.
It's at 50 by default. Level up your strength skill, upgrade your backpack, use carry weight artefacts....
If you're short of money early game Bandage + Yadulin works well, other than the messed up vision.

It's better for us (and our eyes too) if you upload it
The health recovery from Yadulin is very slow (and it messes with your vision), so it won't save you mid fight, but it's the cheapest way to patch up afterwards I think.

The yadulin doesn't heal limbs over time, it's a moderate post heal that also regenerates your main HP over time.

and it has tons of items including ibuprofen so that should work

You need the yellow limb health before the ibuprofen, a couple bandages will do it, or a med kit will get most of it + heal main HP

I had an issue with launching other games through the same MO2 that I use for GAMMA (wish I woulda made another MO2), but I did manage to fix it. Now I can launch it just fine with any game. Still use the GAMMA icon on desktop to launch GAMMA though

I use Kaspersky, and I had to do a lot of fiddling with it to get my work program to run correctly. No flags or anything. Just stopped it from allowing it access to certain files on my computer it needed to run it

i think the dx's have dependencies on operating systems. DX10 would be more suited to win7, vista, and maybe another. Not absolutely sure.

@timid edge Supposedly it takes about a week to populate fully. Other than that, you can look into MCM and find the ZCP mod. Quite a few pop settings there that override the default pop settings

you need to pay a 1000 to use the bench and you are limited in time, if you can, save before trying and just reload when you figure everything out.

there is a stash there as well. matter of fact you will find a stash at all the benches. fairly around the benches at least. Some are a fair distance away.

There are special stoves to cook food, most general merchants sell them. They use different fuel and water

the easiest way to get food is world spawns tbh, but cooking works fine it requires a cooking kit not a toolkit. All the general traders should carry some cooking equip
there are a couple different kinds of cooking kits that taking different fuel (some can just use a campfire) and can cook various qualities of food. All the recipes are unlocked right away just like crafting

Just an FYI: If you ever want to disable the ballistics overhaul module, be sure to look under the GAMMA Combat and Balance category and disable 'Close Quarter Combat' and 'Eidolon Harder Fight - Experimental' as well. It WILL crash your game as soon as you shoot someone if you don't.

your absolute best bet is to grind out missions for the stalkers. Especially the trader in Rookie village. You WILL run into food, then be able to afford the cooking kit.

@glossy zenith If by chance you don't find anything to eat, don't hesitate to spend some money on food. Eventually after enough work the money won't be an issue as much as it seems at the beginning.
There's pretty much always some in the farm on the long tables, and in the bar, restocks every day.
Also the houses by the cordon entrance to meadows normally have lots of food and meds, it's been safe there when I've been, the compounds up the hill not so much!

I don't hthink difficulty matters, though I can't swear to it. ZCP overrides the normal game setting for population.

I turned mutants up to 0.9 (from 0.6) since I started and Eco playthrough when the new artifact system went in (seemed appropriet) to keep things interesting. Saw 5 giants between cordon and rostok by day 2
1 in the cordon, 2 in garbage butcher gave me a quest for, and 2 at the south entrance to rostok (thanks for all the dead duty loot!)

The giants weren't actually that bad, they are territorial so they leash, was able to keep hit and running the 2 in garbage. The 2 in rostok duty softened up nicely for me.
(and 3 of them and 2 Eco's died to them - lots of loot!)

Wow, that's a lot, maybe reinstall from scratch. Delete the mods folder in the G.A.M.M.A. folder then go through the installation process again.

Sorry to hear you've troubles. Usually crashes are associated with bad files. The last invalid "argument" in that log talked about a missing or corrupted file. Find the file path and look and see if that file is present.
Grok mentioned sometimes files aren't downloaded correctly. You might just have to run through an update on his installer. I thought i seen an option for "check file integrity" somewhere.
make sure your GPU drivers are up to date, as well.

i wouldnt worry on that really, you'll eventually have nothing but those available.
i think atm you can skin every mutant with every knife, upgrading your knife seems only to effect the "HP" of that knife and its meele damage

@brisk zinc Seva suits are your best all around armor in game in my opinion.
fully upgraded for max belt slots, that is.
bring him enough Vodka at once and he trades it to a berril (i think thats how its called) it has the around the same anomalie protection as a sunrise but realy good repture (against mutants) and decent ballistic protection
although i havent played this long enough to see if that is even possible anymore
yeah Sevas, as specialy the better Merc Sevas are realy good all around armors
thanks to the fact that NBC suits like every other suit have no helmet now they kind of even better
in game cover is your best bet against ballistics. 😄

my personal favorite would be either the Eggheads protoexo or the heavy duty protoexo
exo seem counter productive with the lack of available belt slots.
the one of the Eggheads has hands down the best overall protection against the zone AND realy good protection against Mutants and bullets plus 5 slots

the heavy protoexo from Duty has 3 slots i think, more than decent protection against the zone and can be together with a good helmet and the right slotitems the most tanky mothertrucker in a firefight that there is
at least outside of gamma, i would have to test how good they are in gamma

For the NVG I think you need DX11, maybe, maybe even DX10
ill just use dx10
im on your side with the exploring the zone, finding unmarket stashes was a lazy but still good reward for actual explorers. Problem is that unmarket stashes can basicly spawn EVERYTHING inclouding item this modpack locks away under certain conditions, so you could be better of playing Vanilla Anomaly
since ive heard dx11 is pretty unstable for anomaly
just dont try DX9 modpack crashes on DX9

I mean take the Miracle Machine for example, it's a big brain inside a big room, it's obvious that you need to be there, the Brain Scorcher in comparison is nothing

you also can do work for your faction, lets say 4 days of work and then go on a stash run, exploring the zone that way (you get stash coordinates as a reward, the higher you goodwill the higher the chance - i think) and or buy stash coordinates from your faction leaders
man you guys must have some weird settings for loot because i find jack squat in everything

i figured the area makes a difference loot wise, but still, the game won't give you prestine anything i cant imagine, so you still have to work for the stuff you want.
and if you are playing the way is intended, by the time you get to the north, your money and items, except armor and weapon maybe, will be set enough where the difference is actually warranted.

i get most of my stuff (the shit i actualy use) from quests that ask me to find a stash, or a body, for some reasons the bodies have midtier weapons on them (you still have to fix them) while the stashes tend to have a suit after a while at least

Quick question: What's the best cooking kit for early game? Is there one that doesn't need fuel and just needs the campfire?
probably the army kettle for early game but if you can buy the multifuel stove from butcher in garbage for a much lower price than anywhere else and find some of the scripted spots for liquid fuel then you are much better off as the multifuel stove uses all fuels and does all recipes
no kit uses campfires as fuel sadly but if i remember correctly the field cooking kit and the army kettle need a campfire anyways
the northern farm in cordon by itself has 2 jerry cans
the machine yard (car park or something i dont know what its supposed to be called) to the west has one jerry can as well (also in cordon)
all cooking kits have limited uses but the multifuel kit so that makes it the most cost effective as well
I see... Kinda stinks the campfire can't be used for at least the minimum mutant recipes.

it happens after the first day as you just fill your inventory with foods from the world spawn spots
just have a look around and break all the crates or metal boxes you find as they have chances of cooking equippement
rostok in the bar spawns a lot of foods and drinks (probably enough for a day or 2)

Hunger and thirst in GAMMA is balanced like a joke. To have to eat and drink every 2 hours or you die.....
if you run around a 30km radius of a place all day and use healing items (which chew through your hunger and thirst in rl to) then you will get hungry often
You can pretty much invincible in the end
It's balanced but some drugs are unbalanced
Like antirads will make you hungry super fast
same with ibuprufen
I would say for hunger reasons, the basic cooking set is enough, since you can find them pretty often (bodies, low level stashes), you don’t need fuel, since you can use campfires and rads from eating zone-produced food goes to 0 before it can do any higher damage. However, after you get the high-tier recipies from Chef in Yantar, then it is worth to get the multi-fuel stove, since you can cook food using Putinka vodka and it gives you bonuses like increased resistances, carry weight etc.
These recipes are available from the start
in gamma all recipes are unlocked
gamma is supposed to encourage you to cook your food more
so it makes cooking a bit easier
Make sure you check the inventory bar. Sometimes eating something light won't fill it up

The timer is set at 1min30 but it doesn't mean every 1min30 an artefacts spawn in the field you are camping. Could be 3 or 4min30s

I do like that they're much stronger now. And yeah I did read the manual about them. I guess it's just not my preference. I could very much change my tune the more I play though. I'm still very new, so everything is being looked at from a new player's prospective lol

I haven't played with new arti's yet but im assuming it will be like not being able to buy weapons/armor. Just more fun once you are used to it
most people i seen talk about belt attachments seem to prefer going with the device ones, so making artefacts more powerful and have more variety and an actual objective to work towards should make them a better option

And one last question (for now lol), in MCM > ZCP, you can set how often npcs spawn back in. Default is every 12 hours. Is that every 12 hours the player is awake, like if you wake up at 7am and they spawn at 7pm, or is it world time?
Cause I set it to 6 for fun, but no more npcs are spawning than normal
world time and theres an actor/npc limit per area iirc

huh weird, traders should have weapons in stock if you dont have gamma economy, did you disable it mid save? if yes, try sleeping or waiting until trader inventory resets

In Meadow, NorthEast is a military base. Inside the multi story building is a giant safe tagged as a stash. I get no option to open it. I looked high and low, every nook and cranny, i cant find anything that would be a stash but that thing.

The safes are one room apart (backs against the same wall) and on different floors.
Remember some staches are really fucky and won’t open unless you go at them at a certain angle

The game has a memory leak, possible that may be the cause if it only starts to happen after you have been playing for a while. Try restarting the game every few hours. Also select 'Delete shader cache' on the launcher.
