I don't truly know how the Skills work tbh. There's like four of them and I'm not sure what they do.
If you're talking about the "K" menu:
Strength:
Levels are gained for traveling with heavy loads.
Grants: increased carry weight and melee damage.
Endurance:
Levels are gained by traveling light.
Grants: increased stamina and speed.
Scavenging:
Levels are gained by killing stalkers.
Grants: increased drops from stalkers.
Survival:
Levels are gained by taking damage.
Grants: increased damage resistance.
Do these actually work on the whole addon pack?
Like the benefits from scavenging and endurance?

I've maxed out strength which gives +15kg weight capacity.
I've noticed my stamina lasting much longer at Lv. 11. Never depletes even with medium armor and no stamina regen buffs. (starts depleting at over encumbered though)
I've certainly noticed better drops across the board since I raided the research institute in Agroprom. Got lots of levels there.

Also for a more in depth question, I wanted to ask: how exactly do you manually repair a weapon/piece of armour?
I'm having trouble with that.
Two main ways.
One is cleaning up the firearm by increasing its durability. You can do this by paying a mechanic to "repair" the weapon, or by using a weapon kit. Depending on how far the weapon has degraded your only choice might be to hand it to a mechanic.
Two is replacing the individual weapon parts. You can find other firearms of similar class and "Field Strip" them for parts. You should only hold on to parts =>60% quality. Most tools for repairing parts stop working below 60%. When you have decent enough parts, you can Field Strip your own desired weapon and, drop the fresh parts onto it.
Field Strip doesn't remove the barrel though, so if you have to replace a barrel you must have a matching weapon kit to replace it at a mechanics workbench, which you can rent for 1000 RU for five minutes.
If you find a barrel you want from another firearm you must disassemble it using a multitool. This will destroy the weapon in the process, so be careful.
Armours work similarly. Unlike firearms however, armours don't accrue defects with degraded materials. Therefore both replacing parts and repairing the durability will restore both parts and durability together.
These require armour repair kits to replace parts. Getting the parts, however, is more difficult than that of firearms since killed stalkers rarely drop their worn armour.

Depends. If you like to start fairly strong you can try Mercenary since they have nice body armours and the MP7/UMP.
But you'll be fighting against pretty much everyone.

You start out by being hostile to Military, Loners, Duty, and Monolith. I haven't played Merc enough to know if they actually have a change of relations scripted after the scorcher.

However that's just me though.
I enjoy being a loner. Having high goodwill with several factions is a good way to find a wider variety of weapon attachments and utilities. Also getting shot at less often.
Oh yeah, I forget several NPCs are loners throughout that questline.

Tasks and selling valuable items
Parts won't make you a lot of money and they can be rather heavy
Sell medical supplies, watch and jewelery boxes, mutants parts to butcher in garbage, artefacts to Sakharov in Yantar.
Keeping all mutants parts on you to give to stalkers to finish their tasks is really lucrative
You can also cook mutant meat and sell it (I think you can make money that way, but you need to check depending on the price of the water)

Question is: can I cut and paste it directly to "mods"? Or do they need to be inside "modpack_addons" folder at all times?
You copy what's in modpack add-ons to mods
After clicking update GAMMA data in the installer
You'll have all the updated GAMMA add-ons without updating the other add-ons of the pack
If you want the newest version of everything : update > install in the installer

step 8 of the installer mentions a gamma shortcut? was this auto generated? Also the only thing I'm seeing is the gamma installer which i've already completed, but i'm seeing no kind of GAMMA launcher anywhere

Installer didn't create dekstop shortcut for me too, launching game from MO2 worked fine for me (but i did some dances and praying, manually downloading mods, on third reinstall everything finally started working)

Having to put all my stuff in my inventory to craft with it is kind of a pain in the ass, especially when I find I'm missing something and have to put it back to go to the workshop owner cos I'm overencumbered to buy that extra grooming kit or something 😒

all the other toolkits in ur inventory will be added to ur personal "workbench" and u can craft and work anything u would in a vice

means how much sleepiness you recover for each hour you sleep right
so decreasing this value would mean that you need to sleep longer

Store all your parts and stuff in a stash and repair stuff while you are at your stash
Craft stuff there too
youll usually have some time leftover in the evenings of each day because of the way sleep is set up so thats perfect to use for maintaining and crafting items and equipment
I plan on making a "Resident evil like" stash system: pay a price depending on the map to make a stash that opens a global stash inventory 👍

any way to increase anti aliasing in Anomaly? I went from 4 to 8 in menu but it still doesn't cover the aliasing happening around leaves on trees and other places

The MAJOR point for me is the bushes and the leaves, all other AI can just shoot through them sometimes and without antialiasing it's just a blur of jaggies when I try to see through the bushes
Yeah I think stock don't really demand much resources

No there's no way to really fix it. Biggest fix would be larger leaves and grass, maybe @oak kite will do it 👍

Other implementation could work, but the trees would likely be super fuzzy

Hell I deleted it, the instructions are simple in the install channel however I’ve uninstalled/ deleted 3 times already because the mods were not activated OR they were activated but when launched the mods weren’t active in game, on boot it was the same as vanilla anomaly
Very strange, only thing that comes to mind is deleting profile in MO2, running installer again and then launching from MO2 directly but i think you did that already
If you have other profiles in MO2 for anomaly try deleting them too, have no idea what's wrong, honestly

Well I feel the installer goes with the understanding that you have some degree of comprehension with modding so perhaps I’m missing a basic step or two that wasn’t consider because of redundancy. So I’m just trial and erroring till it works hopefully. I’ll list what I’ve done as I do it and hopefully my mistake will be brought to my attention while saving another the possible trouble as well.

It should, but it might persist. Loading an earlier save usually is the safest way to get rid of it.

If you somehow got the FDDA bug after eating, drinking, picking up loot, or other events that animate your hands it's most likely safest to load an earlier save.

my leg has ~1/4 hp, and i take damage from sprinting, i tried to use medkits, just to fill the bar to 3/4 (yellow colour) which just gets smaller over time and i take damage again

You heal up your broken limbs with medicine having the First-Aid property.

While they are yellow you treat them again with another medicine with Post-Heal property.

i usually wait until yellow hunger before i eat
depends on the food and how much stuff you are using that reduces ur food meter. MREs are really good in this from what I see compared to other food sources

Yeah, what Ninja Beetle says. Everytime I go to the bar it is filled with food and water, sometimes it feels a bit op because its just free food, and often lots. And you also find a lot on dead stalkers you kill, or you can cook mutant food too. It eventually gets easier to find food.

you can hold F to check ur current ammo and what’s loaded + what’s in your mag, and fire mode is bottom left if you have the body health system going, click (I think) 9 on the keyboard to flip firing modes if your current gun can support it. Should go from “1” to “A” or “3”

Is radiation supposed to deal so much damage to the armor? I go there into any rad zone for 2 seconds and lose 2% from my armor, is it because it only has 11% rad protection?
i didn’t think rad anomalies did armor damage. I know the “dynamic” ones that can appear suddenly in locations are super deadly but that’s it. Which location is it in?

hmm not sure then. My armor doesn’t get armor damage as far as I know. Have you kinda cherry picked which mods you wanted and disabled a couple in GAMMA? If so maybe some kind of background interaction is going on with the rad damage
Havent disabled any besides some visual ones, definitely not any that touch radiation, gonna check if it only happens in those dynamic rad spots

I made the changes on my Nivda control panel, was still giving issues but restarting the laptop did the trick and everything’s smooth. Next up figuring out all these cool features.

usually in bios settings there should smth that makes u chose what graphics processor u want
and u can chose dedicated
but in NVidia control panel or AMD one , you can set programs to use specific gpu
use graphics processors > and is the name of your card
i had this problem on my old laptop on mine , piece of shit was running games on the integrated instead of the dedicated and i didnt know why i had 5 fps in dota

on default its on auto -select so yeah , sometimes he selects the wrong one

Also, has anyone fully utilized all the medications in game? Every stalker Variation I’ve played I only used anti rad, first aid, bandage, and morphine. Does this mod pack put greater needs on the meds that say, give increased chemical resistance?

yes, healing is separated into first-aid and post healing. Use first aid to restore temporary damage which will be shown the by yellow lines on the HUD. Then use post-healing items to restore the yellow bars to white which is permanent healing

Right right I did view the manual on how there are post healing things. I was referring to the meds that increase your radiation or chemical resistance for example or bleed. Seeing as in anomaly those meds were fairly useless due to the use of artifacts and simply not enough areas that require it

The anti-rads might be more useful since the game has increased rad damages
But all meds are more useful in general due to BHS
I always end up carrying quite a few different meds types
as opposed to base STALKER games where it's only like 3 items

Not all medical items heal the same amount and they don't all heal the same body parts, so you might end up carrying different meds to heal your head, torso, limbs, ect.

Isn’t that next to the base in the center of the map? Not the military base. If so I believe you reach it by jumping from the rooftop onto the pipes below that extend toward that tree, then hop onto one of the branches and walk to the trunk

they will use the "best" weapon in their inventory but they wont change outfits

It lets you strip the internal parts of fire arms. In case you just want just the frame, or the parts themselves you can dump what you didn't want and save weight on your person.

I already have. Personally, it's not lore-accurate. In much the same way 3 controllers grouped together and being super common isn't. Perhaps I'm just a Stalker buff in that sense, but I prefer to be immersed in the world of Stalker, without being given arbitrary challenges there.

Use to play provaks mod pack so when it comes to repairing things are there any differences? I didn’t see any in game or in the manual channel. I did see the emergency repair kits but so far to me it’s just any other repairs kit. Guess what I’m wondering is what are the new or different features when it comes to repairing weapons and armor from this mod compared to Provak?

Gun condition is separated from parts condition
Parts condition is what's creating the jams
Gun condition is how clean the gun is
It affects parts degradation
And can also promote jamming
yeah there are 2 types of jams now (or even 3)
The vanilla jam when the weapon is too dirty (the condition is low)
Jamming when your weapon parts is kinda low-ish
Super jamming if you have it enabled, requires you to unload the gun , then unjam
Super jam is disabled by default
