In DS1, your stats didn't matter for pyromancy, full stop. The only thing that mattered was how upgraded your pyromancy flame was.

In DS2, your stats don't matter for equipping pyromancy, but they do matter for scaling.

In DS3, it's all about scaling both faith and intelligence.

In Elden Ring it's now entirely faith for nearly all pyromancies except they're no longer called pyromancies and have been lumped together with miracles and are now incantations.
