Bethesda is absolutely terrible at making games.
FNV is the best exampel:
Game was rushed and the devs barely knew the Engine... Yet, it's better than anything Bethesda put out, without any of the restrictions.
Not only is it better, it's the best Fallout of the Bethesda era...

And yet, it's still a very popular IP, because it's just that good and fun.
Imagine having this IP being owned by any other Studio that is not Bethesda
