i would much rather run the less than 1% risk that someone is wrongfully convicted of a heinous crime than pay taxes so that someone who murdered my friends and family can live out the rest of his life in jail with no real punishment

first of all, they are doing forced labor for the goverment anyways so your taxes are sorta repayed (not to mention its not even 1/4th the fraction of your taxes) and second of all is that many family members of victims that saw the murdered get the death sentence even expressed that it didnt make them feel any better
