I believe that's an anomaly from the mod ARRIVAL, it's a spatial anomaly, it kinda stops time or something? I don't remember now, but that can happen and make mutants die still, it's an anomaly in STALKER 2 as well, but it serves as a bullet wall (stops bullets) and a gives you a weird cellophane effect when you pass through it (in STALKER 2) I think in GAMMA / modpacks, it kills you instantly?

personally i think your shadows are way too dark try upping the lumscale_hemi a bit a see if you like it more, other than that looks awesome !

I will, been trying to fix the contrast ish look. do you know how to make the bloom here not as too intense? it looks good in most scenarios but sometimes it’s too much when for example, a morning sun rise

quick fix is to turn off lens_flare, type lens in console and put it off, however it does affect the sun/moon all the time so see if you like it in other weathers/times too, if yes then that's good, if not, it's a bit annoying to get rid of it because you have to rebuild your whole reshade, it's basically baked in the engine, so anytime you try to mess with the lighting using reshade, the bloom will also automatically get affected too, so the solution i found is to tweak the lighting you want from the engine first with basic brightness in the settings, and usign console with lumscale / amb / and hemi, then once you like the result, you start tweaking everything else with reshade, it will still be there tho you can't really get rid of it completely without turnign off the lens thing, but it will be less than that for sure

But for that specific screenshot I was using GFY Stalker 2 models and in that thread somewhere is optional THAP hands (which changes a lot of 1st person hands and legs to their Stalker 2 variants).. I'm not saying those hands are Stalker 2, but maybe they did something regarding the resolution of it.. I was wearing one of the Heavy Monolith suits..

you can wait for that to come out, or pay $3 to try it now. it works well

Do it up!, I match the season either IRL or to the games date. I'll use green grass and trees and foliage for the summer and spring, then I'll do golden autumn, and then late fall, and then boom Inverno for the winter. Inverno is awesome and seeing the ice from Screen Space Shaders is so cool lol, you can even slide on it!. I also like Inverno because it gives me the ability to use the Cold System addon for more survival immersion misery lol.

try to play with your gamma and brightness settings

if you have some reshades on like bloom or fakehdr, those can affect the overall image too but my guess is that your gamma is a bit too high

I played around with that, but I believe it's purely something in SSS and I tried to play with that too. It's just the contract between ground and sky/fog. Fog is so white it's blinding almost and simple tree shade can be a pitch black. I will just to toggle around little bit more. It's annoying because you can't see the weather even just white color

I would also just play around with the configs that comes with GAMMA.. Like cfg_load atmos console command.. Look at that config file and play around with those

It's only some weathers when it really looks like that. Cloudy being the worst offender. I tried to swindle around with bloom, turned off HDR10 and now it's better. But I'm still envy on how this looks on all of your ends, scrolling here. Thanks to all for suggestions so far!

@raw arch, you can open the debugger in the test room and then give yourself a FN2000 and an m203 grenade launcher. Put the m203 on the FN2000 and see if they grenade launcher works?
Do this provided that you are using SSS23 - hotfix 7 and the path to Your disk:\GAMMA\mods\SSS UPDATE 23 - ALPHA7\AnomalyDX11AVX.exe is specified

Lmao why should I do that? I don't use Alpha 7 and I don't specify exes like that.. I just replace the one in bin with what SSS provides.. Unless you have some other random mod, SSS won't cause issues with a grenade launcher
