it holds up insanely well

plus with the lod gen mod now its suuuper easy to have working lods with any mixes instantly

add on 20% darken which seems to be the sweet spot most of the time and youre golden

made the control room of the train hangar into a hideout i call "the perch" since it overlooks the train tunnel and agroprom entrance, as well as the surrounding area where banditos like to hang around, may not use it that much, but my own personal project is to have a hideout in every (Reasonable) location in the zone!

just replaced the rustle sounds with retune sounds and made the defaults more subtle. sprinting rustle is loudest, walking it’s quiet, crouching it’s barely there. volume scales on inventory weight. i liked retune but every movement made you sound like a reindeer. the gear rustle mod was a good idea but it was too loud, would play sounds way too randomly, and some of the sounds were trash

hippo has a low gamma version of the newer atmos cfgs and i like the lower gamma a lot in certain scenarios
