hmm... the ground looks a bit weird, but the scene has an overall distinctive look and feel, the mood is exactly like those in idk october after a rain when the leaves are already yellowed, and a thick layer was made from the fallen ones

while i dont think reshade should be a primary source of graphics, i do belive it is great for giving slight visual improvements not available otherwise

Mostly can be used for bloom, AA, sharpening and vignette
Very light bloom can help sky and lights a lot
AA can help you to fix edges without wasting your FPS with in game one
Sharpening can also help for crispy game if you play lower res
Vignette can help for more cinematic
The rest can be changed in game
Like r2_sun things and
ssfx for lut

You can brighter shadows in the console command and ignore rtgi at this point

Progress report :
Changed almost all walls, plaster, beton, concrete, floors, roofs can be seen in cordon, dark valley and great swamp
Mostly changed with new and created from scratch textures
Some of them just uses a better and correct texture for the place they needed to be from base game textures
Of course they upscaled and enhanced as well
Like this wallpapers which can suit and fit here very well
For last shot I changed this wall to be looks aged and old which is can be good for here and anywhere else as I checked too

I am not sure if X-Ray does something to meshes farther from the camera, like swapping them to billboards or reducing the poly count, probably not. Only thing I know is that it uses mipmaps to lower the resolution further from the camera.

Do not misunderstand me. Its good but its hard for me to adapt to some mechanics. And it sucks that i do not understand most of the things in ModOrganizer because i dont speak russian. But it does look really great. I want these ground textures and put them into gamma but i cant find them...

Well yea at this point if you played gamma for a long time so yea can be a little strange

For ground textures as I checked they used late fall and mbtt textures I guess or idk really
Some of them are also made by themselves
And I noticed they made these visuals in the best way possible
Like I noticed different games materials in this pack
Like farcry 4, fallout 4, crysis 3
Even more like cinematic FX and unreal engine also

You can port the visuals to gamma but I think that just needs much patience

I will check and see if it was possible to port them to gamma or not as they organised all in one category

Yeah, i found their latefall and mbtt textures and imported them to GAMMA but it doesnt change anything. so i guess it has something more which i didnt find for now.

i do not want the complete look from anomaly custom because thats beyond my customization/modding knowledge. just the gorgeous ground textures touched me hard. 😉

I also noticed its lacking life. I roamed the swamps for hours until I finally came upon some zombies. Its definitely something fresh and highly recommend it for those that don't have high end systems. It runs solid. Very stable IMO. Plus it looks really nice. Gamma does offer offer alot of customization. I'll be jumping back and forth for awhile 🙂

This. And if you meet some enemies. Just be aware they act strange. Like Hardcore aim on steroids. Shooting through walls and any kind of cover. Like an aimbot. I mean Anomaly Custom is a nice breath of fresh air for Stalker but it has a long way to go. The optics are great and it runs very well on my pc but some things i do not understand. And the lack of customization (for me personally because i dont speak russian) is some kind of showkiller.

Well, there's ADEGA, the optional upscaled sky textures also provided in the ADEGA channel, several of the REPACK texture mods, Drunk's Miserable Masks for the headgear UI visuals, and the reshade I use is Jaeger's Hunter 2.0. I also use Arrival instead of Dynamic Anomaly Overhaul.

Otherwise, visually, the rest is included with GAMMA.

I don't think I get many fps drops from Arrival. I'm also using its most intensive settings, so your mileage may vary. If anything, the Hunter reshade is what affects my fps the most.
