I'm using Golden Autumn redux with 0.8 saturation from basic lights settings, but gotta say certain weather files at certain hours does look good so it can vary a lot for that particular moment/time of the day and which weather file.

i couldn't say mate. If you are already running gamma, then you are running the screen space shaders anyway. The update with DOF should not have any noticeable impact, but either way you can disable it from the MCM in game.

If your using texture packs you need to disable the following:

• Autumn texture pack with dead trees
• Gardener of the zone
• Grulags dead bushes

Also delete shadercache in anomalies appdata folder, your shaders look borked

custom reshade, raised the SSS mod graphics manually with the ini. has the new update 12 installed that supports depth of field.

reshade is suuuper light weight, but i'm running in 1440p so I don't need the extra sharpening or anything.

running high quality/value ssao in the SSS mod and grass slider to 90%, 3060 ti doing wonders

levelsplus is key to fixing the shitty black levels causing weird pitch black spots where they shouldn't be when it's dark, you can dial in a uniform black level with it and it's adaptive.

that said i do run the game a bit darker than default, i like dark nights for difficulty/feel

I think it's the chromatic aberration I run, some don't like it cuz it adds a subtle blur, but the way that it works it nullifies some aliasing. It all depends on how you configure it.

Also if you can configured TAA properly, that can be fantastic, I have been going back and forth from having it and not.

i have this issue sometimes depending on my reshade. i fixed it by using Reshade's screenshot feature - there should be a way to change the hotkey for this if you open the Reshade menu in-game and go to the Settings tab

without 1440p you may wanna add some sharpening and anti aliasing to that reshade. to get that reshade to run you need to reinstall reshade from reshade.me and grab all the effects they have on their installer instead of what the gamma modpack comes with default.

if I'm not mistaken that's due to how shaders compilation work and a script that handles what uses DOF in the standard (GAMMA) version (\mods\G.A.M.M.A. UI\gamedata\scripts\grok_dof_with_UI.script)
To disable you can try to start the game (not a save) uncheck the setting, exit the game, start the Anomaly launcher and tick the Delete shader cache, start Anomaly once, then start GAMMA normaly, the setting should be off and remain off.

I think it's bound to the shader cache. So if you don't want the DOF setting (and don't use any DOF feature/mod), disable it in the menu without starting/loading a game. Exit. Start Anomaly launcher and tick the option to delete the shader cache. Start Anomaly once. Exit. Start GAMMA as usual.

unfortunately ao is broken on reshade if using sss mod sooo yea

i normally do my ao in reshade too

it breaks in the 2d scope

Yeah, most of it pierce through the UI

idk how people havent caught on yet, but the depth buffer completely breaks in the 2d scope. you end up with the ao being offset from the spot its supposed to be
