when the marines showed up, they just ripped apart all the little tau guys

only the battlesuits did any damage

before retreating

because the little pissants on the ground have no melee, and cant keep up with a 7 foot monster running 30km/h towards you

but the battlesuits did kill a few, and then they left as to not risk their suits

(which is reasonable i suppose, since if they got close they had a good chance to destroy them)
