This ability can even hack super redacted

If I could, in theory, hack the big ship, which I probably can't because of it's deployment cost, I could force shutdown the shields and have it's allies attack it for 10s every 20s

See I can only hack stuff up to 35 deployment points, but I can also hack a remnant nexus which is 75 deployment points which is over twice the allowed limit
That's because stations are made out of separate modules and the nexus as a whole is worth 75 but separately every segment is below
The megaship is worth 130 points but is made out of 7 segments, which means that on average each segment is worth around 18-19 points, which is within limit, which in theory means I can hack it
