It's actually really hard to even dispose of corpses too. Corpses let off heavy contaminants that attract BT's (the ghosts) so if someone dies you need to drag them somewhere far away to a corpse disposal facility. Even worse, suicide bombing has a completely different problem in DS. If someone goes into their room, locks the door, and kills themselves, necrosis takes about a day to finish. Necrosis causes a voidout, so if nobody checks on you then it's easy for someone to take out an entire city before they're even able to get your body away.

Just because it's not mandatory doesn't mean you won't look at all the cool shit they can have and be like "Oh well, guess I'll use the same 10 weapons in the base warbond."

When the average player is on helldivers, they hop on for a few hours, then call it. They will not have enough to get the next warbond because they don't enjoy the game enough to consistently play it. So either they see a new warbond coming out and grind, or they buy it.
