A sensitive enough capacitive sensor can detect even non conductors due to changes in the surrounding electrostatic feild due to air's conductivity meaning the sensor is simply sensing any kind of change
When you place Redstone in front of an observer it goes off when you add to the same line making it two blocks long it goes off again meaning this signal is traveling but when you place a block in front of it after it goes off placing a second block does not make it go off
Going so further as to say a third strip of Redstone does not in fact set off the sensor meaning the signal traveling from the observer is not reaching that far its too weak
How can it be weak and still super sensitive? Easy ,Redstone sucks its a propagator and a shitty one at that repeaters are needed constantly
Redstone is not power its signal much the same as ethernet

No, signal strength is the determinator of continuation not intensity of result
Redstone is more or less ethernet

It does some things that I think are interesting but most of it's faults come from it being largely a tech demo for their new engine, not because they had particularly good design ideas for a sequel

FC3 doesn't suffer from the same stuff as FC2

For one, the story and characters are very memorable, the gameplay loop is very decent, the gunplay is tight

Remove the fucking checkpoints every 50m in the map and game goes from a 4 to 6 for me

story was a generic merc sim while playing both sides with no branching out, so you were always destined to do one thing that didn't change anything

map traversal with the handheld maps and GPS was cool, much better than the need to press M and pull up the on-screen map

checkpoints... uhh would've been better if you could clear them, i'm pretty sure some mods advertise the ability to clear checkpoints and even that doesn't work

looking back at FC3 i want to agree but on a recent replay it was honestly kinda mid

and its one of those games that you replay like 5 times

or more tbh, i don't remember how many times i beat far cry games on pc/console

even Far Cry 2 i completed it like 3-4 times
