I am just updating my launcher and I just came to a conclusion and wanted to share. I am working in IT so I have my fair bit of understanding when it comes to programming and networking.

Yes theres quite some things that are broken in GAMMA but the sheer amount of work and knowledge necessary to make this whole launcher and update management working is insane! And I am extremely happy theres a lot of cracky nerds, that are WAY more skilled than me, working so hard for this. IMO Gamma is still superior to anything Stalker 2 has to offer. And as long as there isnt a project like Anomaly or GAMMA, I wont touch Stalker 2. Thats how much I love GAMMA and appreciate the game as it is with all its quirks.

Thank you to all the people working on this project with passion and dedication!

The crystals as a resource are used for crafting some items, they are also the only item in the game that does expire, but iirc they don't all expire at once, you just lose half of your supply every day
