I should not have to roll a dice for my character to swing a sword he's been using all his life properly. And BG3 is even more frustrating in that regard. The concept of rolling I think is incredibly unfair, but not in an engaging way. It often feels like despite your efforts, a bad roll means you get utterly fucked in a way that felt unsatisfying. Not saying you can't get fucked by things out of your control, but for example, imagine I'm playing as a fighter or something, I roll to hit a fucking tree in front of me, and it turned out I got a 1 so my sword bounced off the tree and sliced my throat open.
